For him to be effective though it would require him to take on a significantly higher volume than it is now, I just dont know there is a lot of evidence out there that he can maintain high volume without lowering that efficiency.
Curry isn't Lebron, Harden, Durant, Giannis etc in terms of build, athleticism and strength i doubt he could handle the same amount of wear and tear nor does he have the same physicality to get off his shots. It would've been interesting to see how Curry would've fared in the CP3 role in Dantoni rocket's system in 17-18. Didn't CP3 have historically great ISO numbers that was just behind Harden. Anyways the primary discussion wasn't about having Curry running heavy ISO. Rather it was why Kerr is running this stupid (IMO) system with his current personnel. It isn't because Curry has no ISO game. Even if that were true... Curry is still great at running the pnr. Offensive output in my view is going to be heavily influenced by the system the team runs and Kerrs running a system that's a terrible fit for his current team, regardless of which star player was leading them.
Celtics phoning Rockets now for Harden. This team is not beating the Nets. No East team is. Bout to be a bidding war between Sixers, Celtics and Heat for Harden.
I really want to see if Wood can consistently do what he did in the preseason. So far the majority of teams are playing exactly how they played in the preseason. If the same holds true for Houston they are a top 2 -3 seed in the west.
I agree with this mostly. The only thing I will say is that Cp3 has always been an elite-good iso player( I think the numbers back that up). But I have no doubt Curry would explode offensively on the 207-2018 Rockets as well for sure.
Its only the second game of the season, but the question about the NETS are being answered. Durant - looking like a top 5 player Defense - there was a concern that it would be terrible... 2nd straight game of great defense... still TBD but dayum. Kyrie - still weird ASF but still very good at scoring.
Can't wait to see Brooklyn vs Lakers. This is the first year in awhile that im excited to see more teams other than the Rockets.
