LOL That's why LeBron left, right? Come on, they still have two all-stars! Why did he leave? Two all-stars!!! Thought they were done and washed up?! Which is it? BWAHAHAHA Heat are doing fine(though not lately;L10: 3-7), right where people thought they would be: bottom half of the Eastern Conference playoff picture. They've been a .500 team, give or take 2 games either way.
Ive been saying AD was overrated as an MVP candidate when he was PLAYING AND LOSING. Who cares if you put up other-worldly numbers and it doesn't produce wins...
Pelicans can't beat the WArriors with offense. Warriors are just too damn deep. Great effort by them though.
Because his team isn't as good? You think of that? But oh yea, you saw 2 games he's out and think his team is good. LOL.
Hopefully this beatdown OKC are laying down on the Suns doesn't make the Suns value Dragic more who is out tonight.
I can't stand Draymond Green. Warriors are good but a little lucky too. They been playing a bunch of teams missing some key players.
It's going to be crazy to see the all-nba teams at the end of the year. WB v. Curry v. Harden. One of them isn't going to make first team.
Im pretty sure if you poll anyone on this board they would agree that Pelicans shouldn't be a west bottom feeder. They have shown they can compete with good teams without AD. As an MVP candidate AD should push that team over the hump not settle into the 9-10 seed. If we looking at number only Kevin Love should have been mentioned as an MVP candidate every year while his team was languishing at the bottom of the standings.
Thought it was interesting that Thomas came off the bench tonight even though Dragic was out. Green started. It doesn't take a genius to determine they can't really share the floor together, but does it mean that maybe they'd rather try to flip a 6th man (Thomas) as opposed to a starter (Dragic)? Of course, the market may not give them that luxury
It's just a matter of time before Dragic is traded. They won't let him walk for nothing. Morey, please make it happen.
Do you watch basketball? It takes chemistry, and it takes at least a year to learn how to win and grow. Look at the Cavs right now with all that talent. Winning isn't easy peasy stuff. Takes time, takes growth, and takes chemistry. NO is building on that. They will be scary next year. But this is their building year, and the year AD is making that leap. This is AD's first year as a superstar. And this is the first year they come into a seaosn with expectations. And they're FIGHTING for a playoff spot. Did you expect them to be a top 4 seed in the West? So are you kidding me? Go watch some of their games please. AD has been an absolute beast. Whoever thinks he's the reason they're not winning don't know jack about basketball. He's been THE BEST PLAYER so far in this season by a wide margin. No one even comes close to sniffing his production.
There have been rumbles of problems in Phoenix when Thomas, the bench player, has played more minutes than Dragic/Bledsoe on a bunch of games. Phoenix has a really weird mix of talent. Too many guards. They gotta do something about that just to alleviate the issue. No reason why Dragic/Bledsoe shouldn't play 35-37 minutes consistently. No reason.
Dubs keep winning. Ugh. Those stupid 3 charges at the end of the 4th and benching Tyreke with 4 minutes left because of foul trouble killed them.
I think it's best if the Warriors/Grizz start losing games. They will lose to OKC in the first round.
The thing about the Pelican situation is that when you have such a talent that Davis is, you have to direct your offense to him. Evans and Holiday have been doing well in Davis' absence because they are free to do whatever they want on offense, and Anderson is getting more touches and opportunity to be a 2nd or 3rd option, rather than a 4th. Same thing with Howard on the floor with us. Our offense has to go through him at times. The Pelicans just have to find the balance between getting Davis shots and time for Evans and Holiday to take over.
