Pacers defensive gameplan is stopping penetration and not giving up threes, which is exactly what we try to do offensively. Hibbert can guard Dwight one on one. George can contain Harden. Pacers are a terrible matchup for us. That's why we got worked both times we played them last year.
Clippers couldn't make good shot attempts late and gave up crucial offensive rebounds. They remain a work in progress. Pacers are still the same old Pacers. They are sorry at PG and all it takes to blow up their offense in crunch time is ball pressure. George Hill as a starter is their Achilles Heel. They will lose to Miami again in the playoffs.
Clippers didn't deserve this with that pathetic display of rebounding. This is why, despite DJ's tremendous statistical improvement, I feel like he can be a liability defensively because he often goes for the block instead of holding his ground and securing the rebound. Pacers look pretty good. They are big and very disciplined. They fell apart a bit when it got tight though, and I don't see them beating Miami.
