I never understood why everyone (NBA writers) thought Gentry would light it up. His overall head coaching record is like 335-370 and now add 0-6 to that.
Relax. Do you know how many injuries the Pels have? And on top of that they also had the most difficult schedule so far. It's not the coaching that does them in. But Memphis is in serious trouble adn they also have a hard shedule coming up. I think they may fire their coach pretty soon. Demare Caroll has a chronic condition that is going to keep him out for a while-maybe months coz it needs rest. The Raptors with Ross in the starting lineup will be lolworthy.
Agreed. I said at the time it was a dumb hire, especially given how Monty Williams did a respectable job last year before getting shafted. Not only is Gentry a mediocre head coach, but I'm starting to wonder how important he really was to the Warriors last season given how they seem to be doing just fine without both Gentry AND Steve Kerr at the moment.
