A follower of DailyThunder.com's Royce Young sent a screen shot from a Kendrick Perkins tweet on Sunday night which read: "I'm sitting here thinking and it might be time for a change." Perkins later deleted that tweet.

Perkins is obviously frustrated after playing just 16 minutes against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday. He scored only three points and grabbed 1 rebound as head coach Scott Brooks gave the center minutes to Nick Collison and rookie Steven Adams. The "time for a change" could be the lack of productivity he's giving the team which needs to improve, or a desire to be traded.

Perkins, at this point, doesn't offer a lot at either end of the floor and his trade value is very low. Perkins is signed through 2014-15 and he's making $8.72 million this season and $9.4 million next year which is part of the reason teams don't want to acquire him.

The Thunder had the chance to remove Perkins from their salary cap in July by waiving him via the amnesty provision, but chose not to do that. The option is available in 2014 and there is a good change it will be used to get him off their books if a trade is not completed by that time.
