Melo did, judging by his pay check and overall diva nature. He's an all-time great scorer though. I can acknowledge facts that don't coincide with my narrative.
Eric Gordon is currently our biggest net negative by far....should we cut him? Or let him get in shape and get his rhythm? Yes Utah is a bad matchup for him we already established that. You bring up the one series and ignore how good the OKC staring five was just to fit your narrative. We had the guy for 10 games and made him a scapegoat and cut him to get Jeff back. This team goes as James (offense) and Clint (defense) go. Melo was not a problem nor a solution though I wouldn’t have minded having a hall of famer to kick the ball to instead of Gerald green in the playoffs
Probably a make up call for the 2 blocks on Gallo that were called fouls on the Lakers. Gallo definitely didn't travel.
Who said anything about Melo coming here to be best player? Trust though.. besides college, no one in their right mind should ever want Melo as their best player. I'm ignorant on most college sports, so, I'd challenge the exact circumstances that led to Syracuse's title to justify my point --- opponent's injuries, general luck, etc. Will say Melo was clutch early NBA career, so there's that.
lol, EG brings it in the playoffs on both ends every year and isn’t a declining player in his mid 30s...don’t ever compare him to Melo Every team is a bad matchup for a player that is trash on defense. U can’t name 1 team that would’ve been a good matchup since every single team would’ve exploited his defense in a playoff series. U ignore his terrible impact on the court to fit your narrative. Melo would’ve torpedoed our defense in the playoffs, and his efficiency has been sh*t for years now. It’s astonishing that anyone thinks he could’ve been useful. Reality will hit.
Melo is irrelevant. He's playing on a bad team that will pump his stats up by force feeding him. When he goes against good teams they are going to exploit him. When he plays us, james will put him in the pick and roll and try to force the switch. When he tries to post pj will be on his ass.
Kansas is was heavy favorites in that national championship game. It was a pretty big upset. Kansas had been ranked 1-3 all year and had 2 guys that were seniors that ended up being nba lottery picks. Plus a few other guys that made the nba. I’m a big KU fan I was devastated with that loss. Melo did ball out he was the difference he was just the best player on the court that game. none the less Kansas was the better team top to bottom but sometimes in a one off game the best player matter more.
When are the lakers going to play an actually good team? seriously they have played the most cake schedule to date. not knocking them because they are taking care of business against these bums. but i want to see if they really are the best team in the nba. they might be but all these wins against lottery teams only tells me their serious about the season and will be a top 4 seed, which is good considering they haven’t been in the playoffs in what 6-7 years.
They gonna fall so hard i dont think they gonna even make the playoffs.. the season is a marathon and this was just the 1 mile of the race
This might be surprising, but the Lakers have had a harder schedule than the Rockets so far. The Bucks have had the hardest schedule in the whole league, while the Pacers' strength of schedule has been the easiest. Interestingly, the Spurs are only 5-9 with one of the easiest schedules.
