how does someone like Ben Gordon fall off the earth so badly after a promising early career with the bulls, even if it showed his future as a 6th man. his percentages are half of what they were but he still gets PT !!
Happens to a lot of players, sometimes even star players. Gilbert Arenas, Marbury, Francis...I mean it's a pretty long list of guys who were once really good players and then who knows, they just take a sharp decline and never get back to even a respectable level of play.
Kobe only cares about his position in the all-time scoring list so he will continue to get 25 points with 30 shots.
That's a terrible list. Arenas = injury. Marbury and Francis, bonehead SG playing PG who were forced into less PT to help their teams win. later in their careers as well, not entering their prime, they had lost their blow by ability. gordon just dropped off with no injury excuse.

Yeah, and he doesn't even have to take that small of a role. He can be like Duncan. Of course it would have been smarter of him to do that when he had Dwight on his team.
Marbury was never even close to being a SG man, even so that does not explain the the fall off the cliff by both of those players. Plenty of guys have been combo guards in the NBA, Harden is a combo guard. But there are always players who take a sharp decline and never get back to where they were. Like Kirilenko, who was about as all around a player you can find. Antoine Walker...Shawn Kemp...Heh, Deron Williams... I mean there are better fallen players than Ben Gordon is what I'm saying. Whatever the reason is, it is usually not returning from an injury or personal issues. It's something. We've seen guys return from some bad injuries too, well enough to still be useful on the court at least.
I really hate that they call that. All Tyson did was flop, he didn't even attempt to play low post defense and the refs believe that one bump from Cousins is enough to send Tyson Chandler flying across the court like that.
WTF was Jordan Hill doing out there? Shooting a 17 footer while down by 3 while Kobe just nailed a 3pt. SMH
