I think CP3 has got to be more aggressive for the Clips to take the next level. No reason for him not to average 22+ points and still do what he does.
that's why an open 3pt shot is better than a contested lay-up. Why wasn't the play for Crawford? anyone else feels Chris Paul is not as sharp as before.
3D thinks there is something going on in the Clipper locker room? Is that true? weren't they just recently growing ridiculous facial hair together?
Why would the Clippers not start out blazing this year? Do they miss Jared Dudley or Darren Collison? It's gotta be something. You would think their team chemistry would be improved over last year.
It's a marathon. They started out 3-3 last year too. Just like players, some teams take their time getting into the season.
I really like that the Clips are starting slow this year.... gives more opportunities for other teams
Care to post the stats for the 5 years before that? Or for all the years they won titles? I thought the last 2 years were the exceptions to the rule. they will be dangerous come april no matter what their record says.
2011/12 - started 13-7 2010/11 - started 15-2 So the Spurs since 2010 have generally been a fast-starting team. But like I said, it's only natural for them to shoot poorer considering the historic pace that they were on in the playoffs. They broke quite a few offensive records in the Finals v. the Heat. but again, the season is 82 games. That's a LONG season. How teams start aren't as critical as how teams finish heading into the playoffs. It's about momentum, and how teams pace themselves. I have no doubt the Spurs/Clips will be 2 of the top 4 teams in the West once the playoffs start.
