Why don't you quit hating on Kobe for awhile?

Why don't you enjoy some good basketball?

Instead of talking about how bad Kobe's going to make the Lakers (lol), why don't you focus on how well D'antoni coached, or how well Pau lead the team?

Jordan Farmar, Jordan Hill, X-man, Shawn Williams...These are all good ballers. Esp Farmar, who got better through playing Euroball for two years.

Your Anaheim Clippers got steam rolled in the fourth, and they've got some serious issues to work out. It's just one game, and you're the one overreacting. True Laker fans are just happy that these guys play with heart and teamwork, something we never had with Yao's b**** last year.

Really enjoyed the 4th period. Good beat-down basketball.

But speculating the next 81 games because of a season opener is bad joss, especially the extremes this game offered.

Cp3 got outplayed by Jordan Farmar.

Blake Griffin sucked today liked he has sucked all preseason. His rebounding is dropping off and the Clippers suffer when they go small and bench Deandre Jordan (teams best rebounder). Blake disappeared in the fourth quarter like he often has even as he was being guarded by small forwards.

Deandre Jordan actually played well Doc gave his props, didn't use him as his scapegoat and called out Blake for his justified crappy play. Something that VDN never had the guts to do.

Though everyone claimed responsibility, Rivers did go out of his way to praise the defense of one player -- center DeAndre Jordan. Before the opening tip of the preseason, Rivers had practically launched Jordan's campaign for the NBA All-Defense team and Jordan largely fulfilled those expectations on Tuesday.

"I thought D.J. was sensational tonight," Rivers said. "I thought him in particular. Blake, we have to get him better defensively -- and everybody -- but I thought D.J. was unbelievable."
