Since when did durant start bringing up the ball and passing it off? He didnt shoot when he needed to.
Almost turned that game off at about 6 mins left. Watching the Warriors choke that hard is as good as a Rocket win!
Thank you Grizzles for making the Warriors look human. Now I know we are one poece away from challenging them, maybe 2.
All the numbers say the Warriors are better than ever. With that said when you watch them something just isn't the same, There beatable. There still the favorites until someone beats them in a seven game series but they don't scare me like they did last year and it looks like the rest of the league feels that way. At some point you have to ask if adding Durant was really worth losing all the depth and size they had? Yes KD is better than all those guys and any team would make that trade in a vacuum but the Warriors were different. They won 73 games they crushed everyone and got contributions from man 1-10 every game. Like a lot of players said in the offseason. "There's only one ball" that statement is looking true every time I watch these guys. They let everyone back in games all the time and usually it doesn't matter but it's not them I few times. This isn't and isolated incident. They were in a close game with Portland on weds night and the blazers were playing without Lillard and still put up 71 in the first half. If I'm GS I'm not panicking but they have real problems and it's not going to solve themselves, and this is it for them they can't get better there locked into KD/curry/klay/green. Everyone else is going to be minimum guys. They won't even be able to keep iggy. They have some tough decisions to make and I love it.
The problem with the warriors are that they are primarily a jumpshooting team, and they turn the ball over a lot, so while they can look amazing at times, no lead is really big enough. Teams can come back on them. It is a classic problem in the nba.
Looks like Durant will need to have a serious talk with Steve Kerr. Too ball dominant, won't work, Yule C.
To put it simply, Durant has to eliminate a bunch of his bad habits from his OKC days. He'll figure it out eventually, but I'm not so sure it'll happen by June. This is a veeeeeeery interesting season
The Warriors pulled a reverse Rockets, they started hot from three and then went 1 for 13 from deep in the fourth. I think the Grizzlies went on like a 16-0 run during that time as well.
Memphis looks like ass against everyone except the top teams. They just lost to an injured Clippers team and a Orlando team.
