The West is pretty crazy this year.
In the West the cream of the crop obviously is both LA teams, Utah and Denver. Once Portland gets health I think they will take over the 5th seed pretty easily. Phoenix has struggled recently but Booker has been out I expect them to finish 6th come end of the year. They are going to be a good team when they get healthy again. Fun to watch too.

The 7th and 8th seeds are going to be toss ups. Just a bunch of the same average teams
    Golden State
    Grizzlies
    Rockets
    Pelicans
    Spurs
    Thunder
    Mavs

I think it will be a really good battle at the end of the season with the 7th and 8th seeds with all of these teams.

And I think NO ONE Will want the Rockets

    The East is wild too
    Look at Toronto struggling mightily
The Knicks might actually knock off the Clips

Wow! What is going on with Toronto? I didn't realize they were that bad. Man I'm really pulling for NYK to get into the playoffs. It's great for NY and great for the NBA having them be relivent.

Westbrook may come out at the biggest loser in this whole thing
Even if the Rockets win the Championship . . .. Harden will look bad
but Westbrook might be coming off the bench next year

Haha I bet it's just for rest. We know he plays thru injury. I have a feeling KD and Kyrie will be in his ear this season to have "rest" games. But you can't just sit guys anymore so we will have injuries lol.

Westbrook called Harden out before the trade... Harden not ready to look in his eyes face to face on the court yet. Make up a injury and sit out.

The nuggets just put up 79 in the first half on 67% shooting. Even wilder, 15-17 from 3.

    Jokic with 33 at halftime.

Has a team ever been that hot from 3 in a half? Highly doubt it.

I'm simply shocked at how crazy good that dude has been this year. He might be the first to avg a "real" triple double. Oscars accomplishment was possible due to the pace and sheer amount of possessions. WB was possible due to unprecedented ball dominance and arguably inflated rebound numbers.

Jokic is avg 25.7 11.7 and 8.7 64%ts. Even more impressive, hes doing this without dominating the ball! Avg time of possession per game is only 4.5 minutes. He leads the league in touches (101.4) but is passing or shooting quickly (2.66 sec per touch).

In comparison, Luka ( 27/9/9) leads the league at 9.2 minutes per game and avg 6 secs per touch. Both are among my favorites players and putting up great numbers, but Jokic is doing so much more efficiently and impressively.

jokic is a massive dude with post moves playing in an era of small-ball centers who simply can't match up with him. and he plays in a wide open era that allows him to take full advantage of his passing. not sure how you really stop him as he has an answer for everything. also, i feel like i've never seen him miss a 7 foot floater. like, it never even touches the rim.

yeah, can't imagine that's not some sort of record. a couple of times in the playoffs the spurs had crazy quarters where they only missed 2 shots, but that was overall shooting, not just 3's.
