Jennings went down, and was in a lot of pain. Hauled off in wheelchair. Looked like an ankle, or maybe Achilles tendon injury.
It looked like Jennings broke his leg or his ankle by just stepping to contest an inbound pass. It didn't look as gruesome as it sounds. Jennings was on the floor yelling loudly, but no one knew what was happening. They showed the replay and it looked like his leg just gave way a little above his ankle. Not as gruesome as it sounds. they didn't bring out an air cast but he left in a wheel chair so it might not be a broken at all.

the referee is signalling it was tipped by the opponent, it didn't look like it was, but that's what he called
There were three non up & down calls in that game, all indicated as tipped, not sure any of them were but i didn't have the benefit of replay to back that up. At least they correctly called the end of game over & back.
the defender didn't hit the ball, i guess it happened really fast in real time though so refs missed it
i have a question for anyone knowledgeable on the subject... does a partial or full tear of the achilles vary in pain? in the comment section of the jennings video, someone was like kobe didn't react painfully to his tear because it was a full rupture, but jennings had a partial one so there's more pain. anyone know if this is true (pending on if jennings actually did suffer an achilles injury)?
The nerve signals pass through there, so with a full rupture, your nerves that should be signalling pain aren't connected to your brain anymore.
