And even then, if they did not get rid of Paul assuming it was all Tilman you think Harden would have genuinely worked it out? You think we would have found other players to fill the void of losing Ariza and Prince? We had no one to trade, no one. We had no way of competing against Lakers, the hamstring away season was it... That was the window and the moment Paul was out the window shut close. All the years of Morey putting together that specific team were gone, wasted. All the deals Morey did to even get us there was gone once Paul was out. The Rockets gave everything they had for that moment and lost. There was no coming back from that. That's why we are here having this stupid argument. I was anti Tilman since he acquired the team, cracked enough jokes just like everyone. Photoshoped him on being cheap.

But things started to click once Harden did what he did, Harden himself admitted he handled it poorly. Maybe he handled other things poorly, like the Paul trade. Maybe you should give Tilman a chance. When news breaks out that Tilman did not want to sign a super star free agent that wanted to be in Houston I'll come back and say DSniper was right, but until then I see smart moves that could pay off in the future. Hopefully they do, for the sake of The Rockets. That's our team, not the Sixers.... Not the Nets.... Not where any of these figures went to.

This is really weird. You say I ignore Harden. Yet in the exact post you quote of mine, I mentioned Harden's involvement. Haha.

You questioned two scenarios instead of accepting that its likely and even obvious both are correct. You rather blame Tilman than Harden for that CP3 trade. When in fact it was both, except Tilman's reason made more sense because it just so happens that Harden almost got to the finals alongside CP and Tilman just felt the contract was horrible which it was and nearly untradeable. If Harden would have wanted Paul, Paul would still be here and maybe even Harden.
