Clippers were going to fall back to earth eventually without CP3. I just didn't know when. Rockets need to take advantage, although I don't know that they will

Very long road trips like this is where they really miss CP3. They are 2-2 so far and have a good chance of going 1-2 to finish up.

At home, they've done just fine against mediocre teams. Problem is, after this road trip, Clips have a couple of other tough road games and a challenging homestand against good teams.

Seeding won't matter much in the playoffs unless they take the plunge to #7, which ain't gonna happen.

It has little to do with CP3. The Clippers lost to the Cavs and Nets with him on an earlier trip. It's just a fact of the NBA that there are no easy wins on the road, and the sooner you accept that as a fan, the easier it is to move on from these kinds of games.

Reggie Jackson putting on a show early in the 4th. 11 straight points and counting!

KD looked like he was on fumes most of the 4th quarter. He short-arm two very easy shots and another jumper.

    Then those two 3s.

Didn't snap like primo spaghetti :)

    Durant with a double-double, wrong kind :p

Tony Parker is really really good. Leonard broke his hand. Huge loss for Spurs.

The Spurs feast on the bad and the mediocre teams, but can't beat the good teams. Would not be surprised at all if they went out in the first round.

I love JVG. He's the best commentator for NBA basketball by far. He blasts players for flopping and bad plays. He calls out refs on a regular basis. It's great when he gets animated and loud when doing so.

But his refusal to call out dumb coaching decisions sticks out like a sore thumb.

After tonight, does anyone still think I'm crazy for saying the Clippers are 2nd most likely to make the Finals after OKC? Spurs will probably finish 1st or 2nd seed but if CP3 regains form in time for the playoffs, Clippers will beat the Spurs in a playoff series.

OKC best in the West. It's official, for now.

No Westbrook, no problem. Injuries, no problems. Back to backs, no problem. Thunder rolls. Thunderz going to the Finals!

I don't think many playoff teams fear the Blazers and Spurs. OKC, LAC (because of Paul) and Houston are the teams to avoid.

Don't include Houston. That's laughable. No one fears Houston. Houston isn't going anywhere far.

Playoff time everyone's intensity is up. Harden can't get away with slacking defensively, Howard becomes a real menace and they continue to have a real offensive identity. Top 3 team to avoid for sure.
