NBA Game Action: 1/16/2014

Reggie Miller is the worst broadcaster in the NBA and it's really not close. The guy doesn't even try to hide his biases. I don't understand how he was such a good player because he seems dumber than a box of rocks.

 

The SG position is not exactly a strong one right now in the NBA. For backcourt players for this year's All Star game, Wade, Irving and Wall are obviously more deserving than I'd personally take Affalo or Lowry but you can make a case for Stephenson (leading the league in triple doubles, rebounding, assisting at a nice rate etc)

I personally don't think Stephenson should be on the all star team, I just said I can see the case for him.

For the players you listed, I don't agree with a couple of them

DeMar DeRozan: yeah he's scoring more than Stephenson but he's doing so by taking significantly more shots and at significantly worse efficiency across the board while also posting worse rebounding and assist #s. Do you take the inefficient chucker from a bad team or the more efficient & versatile player from a good team.

Kemba Walker: basically the same argument at DeRozan.

MCW: basically the same thing again.
