I'm pulling for the Mavs. I see a much different Mavericks team than I have seen in the past - more determined and battle-tested. This is their opportunity to slay the ghosts of 2006 and gain some retribution. And, it looks like Mark Cuban may have finally learned to keep his big mouth shut and get (the hell) out of the way. This should be very entertaining to watch.
I chose 'shoot me'! But, this... has softened my hate for Dallas. I actually won't be sick if they win. The Heat on the other hand... I really, really do not want them to succeed. If they do, the NBA will go in the toilet as all the best players gravitate to the East and West coast cities to create super teams and the Rockets will languish forever.

I really don't understand all the Heat hatred. I think its jealousy. LeBron has taken a huge ego hit by admitting he needed help, he knew there would be consequences. Nobody liked what he did, but what is he really supposed to do about it? ****, I've never seen a guy so locked on as Lebron is right now. He's doing it with defense too. This is greatness we are watching. I give it about 2 more years until everybody forgets about Lebron's whiny decision and gets back on his nuts. Maybe I'm the only one left who still properly hates the Mavpricks. I will never root for Dallas, and any of you rooting for Dallas should be ashamed of yourselves. Dallas sucks, and will always suck. I think Lebron handled the whole "decision" about as poorly as one could have, and he deserved all the flack he got for that, but ultimately I have to admit it is fun to watch Lebron and Wade play together. Last night was a perfect example. Lebron hits a 3, Wade hits a 3 + 1, Lebron hits a 3, instant 10-0 run... breathtaking to watch really. Heat in 5. Muck the Favs forever.
REAL TALK. The Heat hatred is simply incredible. I wonder if "The Decision" didn't happen and he just signed with the Heat without the pomp and circumstance, would there still be so much hatred for them? I really enjoy watching LeBron play, he's an unbelievable player, and I hope he wins the title this year. Plus I hate Dallas and I hope they never win anything.

Living in Houston I come across way more Dallas fans, so it would be nice to deny them a ring to have something up on them despite our lack of recent success. But the "Decision" and... this... Spoiler <iframe width="560" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/e9BqUBYaHlM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Seriously watching that makes my blood boil. How could I possibly root for these people? You'd have to assume Miami WILL get a ring(s) with this team eventually, so I guess it's better that they steal one from Dallas rather than take one from OKC or another team I'm fine with in 2012 or 2013... I don't know, someone compile all this information and tell me who to root for. Oh I also hope Jason Terry dies of AIDS.
