If they also thought their job on defense was done after the opposing team missed a shot, that would explain why they were 23rd in defensive rebounding.
A jealous fan who has been a fan for over 12 months would dislike the Spurs a lot more than they would the Heat, since the Spurs have been a much more successful franchise in the long run. It's perfectly OK to dislike the Heat because they act like entitled brats all of the time, because they flop more than anyone and insist that they don't, and because they pretend to be tough but are not (except for Lebron). Embrace the truth.
As a LeBron fan, I can agree with you that the majority of the Miami Heat are not like able, especially Wade. But I don't see how anyone can't like LeBron. The guy is all class, he's a lot of fun, he's a great father, family man and role model and he's a joy to watch if you are a fan of the game of basketball.
They were +2.4 in rebounding last year, tied for 5th in the league. this year, they are also 5th. So they were 5th best at winning the rebounding battle each game. Miami is #20 this year.
Spurs might miss Stephen Jackson this series. He would be the only other guy on their team besides their big 3 who's actually played in the Finals. I'd much rather have him on LBJ than Leonard or Green if I was San Antonio.
My God did y'all see them interviewing all the laker fans? - Are you excited the Lakers made the Finals? Oh yeah whoohoo! LA baby! - Will the Lakers win the Stanley Cup? Yeah, for sure! - Even though the Lakers were eliminated earlier, you think they can come back? Oh yeah, any team can. They've got great composition and stuff
It's raining pretty hard and thundering over hard over here. Pray to God electricity doesn't give out. Outages occur way too easily around here.
I wasn't in the room during the SA intros, but saw Miami intros. No shenanigans. Miami has their gameface on.. Can't wait.
