It's only one game. You'd think this was the NCAA Finals or something.

Tonight could not get any worse for Orlando tonight.

Kobe hit everything contested or uncontested.

Orlando missed a lot of open jumpers.

I thought Van Gundy played Nelson too long in the 2nd quarter.

OMG this annoys me so much too. He always says that, often about Kobe...and it's not amusing when its repeated in every broadcast.

Phil's record after winning game 1 is no joke.

I think he did have 38 shot attempts... close to his 40 points. So the defense on him wasn't bad. SVG is right, rebounding and points in the paint killed them. Hope magics recuperate and win game 2.

He's like 15/29 after 3 quarters, when the game was already won.

He took 34 shots. That's 1.2 points per shot.

Lakers will lose this series. Kobe can not beat a team by himself.

I am happy I actually didn't wake yp at night. Pretty dissapointing game for Orlando.

But as you guys mentiones, Kobe cannot beat them by himself and look, Orlando played one of their worst games. They didn't make shots inside, they didn't make shots outside.

If they just put focus and their minds into the game and play as a TEAM (they are pretty effective at that) they may win this thing.

Point taken but people have made the same claim about Phil's record in game 7s. Then he lost against the Suns. There was Phil's record when up 3 games in a series. Then that record was broken. Or Phil's record in the Finals prior to losing to the Pistons, then to the Celtics last year. See what I'm getting at? I'm not saying the Magic are going to win the series, but its only one game. I'm glad I didn't watch the game though. I forgot the game was on last night until I browsed CF.

The lakers rout the magic by 25 points and people are still talking about how good the Magic are. Bah. GTFO.

It appears that another Chinese player would get a ring before Yao, First Mengke (Spurs 2003) and now Sun Yue..

im still rooting for the magic...obviously if artest or battier couldn't stop kobe no one can..so kobe will get his points...

the magic just have to have better ball movement and hit their open shots...

and on defense, there is nothing u can do about kobe, but gasol can't be getting open jumpers and they need to keep bynum in foul trouble and just contain gasol and odom

Why I pretty much dislike Gasol as a basketball player:

That's Dwight Howard by the way.

Phil is 43-0 in playoff series when winning the first game. If magic can come back, the odds is like 3% at best now.
