chalmers needs to play starter minutes: like 35+ minutes. there is no excuse for bibby out there. chalmers is shooting better, provides better defense, and hustle. however, he needs to cut down on his bonehead plays.

lebron needs to get at least 10ft attempts. he gets that and the heat will win.

everyone else just needs to play the same way.

the next 2 games are all up to lebron to win or lose.

Really? Heat insiders where happy this season if they made the conf finals, they didn't expect to get this far so early, as the team still has holes to fill.
There are plenty of moral victories for the Heat, as they can only get better, and have played pretty well so far, as all games have been decided in the 4th quarter.

completely disagree. miami is better than dallas. they had control of every game except for game 5 (and they had a 4pt lead with 3 minutes left). this series should have been over in 4 or 5 games.

if they lose this series, it's b/c they choked.

Or it could be, you know, that Dallas actually played well. This series has been remarkably close, with Miami only taking double-digit leads what, one, two times, for a few minutes? And Dallas never having a big lead?

The 3 stars they have make up for the holes. esp. the star playing the 3. They knew this and I seriously doubt they expected less than a championship going into this season. maybe Spo would be satisfied but lebron, wade, and bosh=failure if they don't win this year. someone(bosh) will be traded to fill the gaps.

I did notice during last night's game that Jones is still in uniform.

Expectations change during the year. Even if that was what they felt at the beginning of the season, I can guarantee you that "Heat insiders" were not thinking they would be happy losing in the Finals as they watched their team take a 15 point lead with seven minutes left in Game 2 (with the chance to go up 2-0) or a nine point lead early in the fourth quarter of Game 4 (with a chance to go up 3-1).

Don't see how anyone can sit here and say this finals isn't disappointment if Miami loses. Especially with how they have lost a game.

They are down 3-2 and Dallas has only had 1 game where you felt like they would win it throughout the game and even that game was close.

The finals isn't over yet, and with Miami back home, they have a huge chance to win both games. But overall, Dallas and Miami have proved they are the best two teams in the league, and both will only get better next year.
Could be a Dallas vs Miami final next year, which will be epic as well.

Unfortunately, the Heat's biggest hole is LeBron the 3-quarter man.

But as we've seen, that problem will disappear if he has a good rhythm going in the first three quarters and he has his head in the game. Nobody was calling him the 3-quarter man against Boston or Chicago.

How come Peja doesn't play anymore? I'd rather have him then "the Custodian" :p

He is too big of a defense liability and he only made one FG in the finals. He would be better off cheering on his team from the sidelines against the Heat

The Custodian is in there because he has been an outside shooting threat that Dallas needs when Nowitzki is on the bench. Better than Peja.

Also, with Haywood injured, Cardinal has been defending the PF position while Mahinmi gets minutes at center. The Custodian helps their frontcourt rotation more than Peja right now.

Given his history, I find what this Donaghy guy is doing, and the way he now tries to sell himself as this voice of truth, pretty damn unpleasant. I feel like taking a shower after watching those videos.
