they were playing zone with barea on him man. how do you post up with 2 guys within a foot of barea helping?
This is pretty much Dallas's pace too though. We'll see. Good defense played by both teams so far. Both their transition D is pretty impressive.
I want to see Barea driving in every damn play. If anyone touches him it's going to be a foul so he should get 30 ppg haha

yeah i'm not a fan of the rotations so far. i'd try more straight up 2 point guarding as opposed to leaving 3 point shooters open and hoping you can recover. this ain't the bulls shooting here.
The defenses are ridiculous. If every possession requires this kind of energy, depth may become a factor. The Heat will need a key role player to step up and the Mavs need either Barea or Peja to play worth a dime.
eventually the heat will be patient enough to know peja and barea and terry will be on the court and actually attack them harder. it's just a matter of time. +1. the thing for miami is that they have played this level of defense for 2 rounds now vs boston and chicago. dallas will play barea/terry/peja a ton and eventually they'll break. zone defense cannot be played for prolonged periods in a 7 game series, and it will kill the mavs on the boards.
i wouldn't call that a beautiful post move by marion. he ended up flat-footed almost behind the backboard and got a lucky roll. non-big 3 are 1/10 for the heat right now. might wanna change that if you want to win.
