Not trying to take away Shaq's athleticism, but it's much harder to make a behind the back dribble on a run than a crossover.
if you follow TMac in the hightlight clip, the second replay (closer shot) indeed shows his jaw dropping when Yao made that move.
Awesome show! Its nice to see it frame by frame. He looks like a giraffe being chased by a hobbit in that gif.
go to the game thread and hit the many yousendit links ppl have been posting...surely some of those still are working. To those who sound like they havent realized it....there are fully downloadable version available in this very thread....there is a mpeg version on page 2 and the link to my highlight clip(shich has it replayed at least 5 different times from various angles) further down that page....all ya gotta do is download it.
you gotta be kidding me...yes, i have seen those moves and he looked like a fool. It wasn't natural or nearly as fluid as Yao's behind the back.
Thanks, I love this song, I just play it on my laptop everytime I watch Rockets highlights after a win.
Hey, not taking anything away from Yao, I am bias so yes I think the behind-the-back dribble was better...I am just saying Shaq ain't too bad himself.
Thats a 7'6 giant doing a behind te back dribble under pressure in the open court!!!. think about it, it's just unheard of. some guards would struggle to pull a move out like that?.... let alone a giant like yao!
"Throw it down big fella, throw it down!!" (Bill Walton) I appreciate the insight that JVG is the reason Yao has backed off from his over-the-shoulder passes and other "natural and fluid" looking b-ball moves we saw in year one. I wish Rainman would "unleash hell" and let my Yao Ming go... This is the play of the year!!!
