Ok, but the post you just responded to had none of that at all....very strange....very eerie.....

    ;)

Regarding this topic, just search for Adelman/Morey and Mature....and you would see this is EXACTLY what people have been saying.....

But certain TMac fans did not want to hear it......either way, I am glad the arguing etc...is over, and we can now see what we have on the court and people realize it is not some conspiracy, but just good old fashioned basketball sense.

chris webber came back in 6 months playing 30 minutes a game. tmac's microfracture is less extensive, and this is his 10th month out. kind of a big difference.

I think it's meaningless to talk about the past. We all should look the future.

Hopefully, the rockets can get homecourt advantage, and make a deep run in playoffs.

Tmac wants to play 30 minutes a game and also wanted to get out on the court a long time ago. It takes normally a year to recover from microfracture surgery, and the MRI that was taken last month did not show that the healing process was any faster for Tmac than a typical person.

Don't encourage him man, in another thread hes saying the video of tmacs return didnt include any of his slacking defense or jogging down on offense. My dad had this exact surgery and said that hes impressed as hell that mcgrady can do what he can do off of that knee right now. That type of therapy doesnt happen by itself. the guys "worked his tail off"(Landry) and regardless of how much hate DD has for him i wish hed respect how much work the guy has put into getting back on the court, and dont say its because he wants to get paid because theres not a single player in this league that doesnt consider getting a contract a major part of their motivation even though mcgrady has stated several times that he wants to stay here. I just dont understand how you can hate on any player on your team as much DD does mcgrady.

season starts in late september, which would put it around 7 months. and he has NEVER said he wanted 30 minutes from the get go. he simply said he wants to play.

the team and everybody has said tracy has recovered faster than scheduled, even during the summer.

I respect Adelman a great deal. I've never looked at it as disrespect to call him RA, but from now on I'll refer to him as Coach Adelman, until we find a better nickname. IMO Rick the Ruler just doesn't fit, unless you are considering Steve and Tracy's situation with wanting to play.

T-Mac haters were the ones with the ridiculous conspiracy theories of how there was no way coach was going to play t-mac this season, and personal animosity between coach and t-mac, and t-mac is poison so they're keeping him away, etc. etc. etc.

    Both sides have been crazy.

I don't know why everyone thinks they know what is going to happen ... nobody knew Mac was playing until they walked into Toyota Center, or turned on the boobtube. Like you say, let's stop the arguing and conspiracy accusations, and watch some good basketball! My Dad has turned his back on the NBA for many many years now, because he was tired of all of the self centered play. But the Rox are playing just the kind of ball that true fans love to see!

Even as a "McGrady hater" I think this is a valid point. I still agree with the Rockets holding McGrady out longer than he wanted but to compare his microfracture surgery to Webber's is not accurate.

Microfracture is microfracture. It still takes the same amount of time to regrow cartilage regardless of the size of the area.

i think that's what webber was talking about when he said his knee may feel good one point, but three months later it wouldnt...i think he's saying he wished he would have taken easier for a few more months..
