You pretty much covered all the best possible prospects at our position...
except for Old man Rock's favorite prospect Larry Sanders...

it wont be paul george washington because morey likes guards that can draw contact and fouls and pgw isnt strong enough to do that

it wont be bradley unless lowry has some outragous demands we dont know about

it wont be cousins unless gsw want to trade and i perfer not to gut the team for a slightly overweight cousins to get the 6Th pick

it wont be orton because he sucks and reports say he blew chunks during workouts

it wont be turner because of brands contract, and oh yeah, a guy named Kevin Martin

it wont be Aldrich because he already has a tattoo of utah's state flower on his arm since lord knows Utah cant have enough white stiff centers

it wont be xavier henry because of , oh yeah a guy named Kevin Martin

it wont be whiteside because both him and sanders worked out at kings camp and rumor is whiteside was castrated by sanders

that leaves Sanders. (if he makes it past kings and minnesota)

Whiteside looks great, albeit against poor competition.

I liked Whiteside as well. It's a highlight reel but ... Whiteside's offense looked good.

As I said before, who ever drafts Luke Babbitt, is going to get the steal of the night, that guy is pure shooting skill, with pretty decent dribbling skills, for me he is a top 5 draft player, and for those that say that he is not tall enough for the PF and too slow for the SF, I say that he is a perfect SF, and he is not as slow as people make him

I completely agree with you. I think he arrived to the college a little raw physically, but has gained a lot of athleticism (specially speed) at the last 2 years. He's competitive, hustles, has a body, and a proper mentality to survive in the NBA world. Skills... even more than Chase, he can create his own shot easily, can shoot it, dirbble, pass... I think he has a chance even to be a star in this league. If he's available at 14th (won't be), I would pick him.

I've noticed there hasn't been a single rumor in the media about who the Rockets will pick or are high on. I think Morey will surprise us as usual.

Only thing we have heard is from Morey that we might move out of our spot.

Well, why speculate on whom the Rox will take at #14, when you don't believe the Rox will be picking at #14?

I expect the Rox to move up, but not all the way to #3, which means you can't really say who they'll take, even if you know the slot.

None of these dudes impress me. Even Dorsey looked great on Youtube. I think I'm gonna make a highlight real of myself and leave all the bad stuff out. :p

This is what I want. Babbitt has all the skills along with the intangibles. Great court vision, he runs, he is more athletic than he is given credit for, great bball iq, and a tough, tenacious attitude. I absolutely love this kid. He has my seal of approval.

My guys that I think can really play in the NBA outside of Wall, Turner, Wesley Johnson:

    1. Luke Babbitt
    2. Larry Sanders
    3. James Anderson
    4. Patrick Patterson

    Possible busts:
    1. Derrick Favors
    2. Paul George
    3. Aminu
    4. Ed Davis

    Possible 2nd round steals:
    1. Jerome Randle
    2. Derick Caracter
    3. Solomon Alabi (if he falls)
    4. Trevor Booker

My guesses as to the level of performance, if they are drafted by the Houston Rockets, the oft-mentioned names in this draft would achieve:

    Superstar tier:
    Evan Turner
    Hassan Whiteside?

    All-Star tier:
    Derrick Favors
    Larry Sanders

    Good players tier:
    John Wall
    Wesley Johnson
    Al-Farouq Aminu
    Ed Davis
    Greg Monroe
    Eric Bledsoe
    Epke Udoh
    Patrick Patterson
    Daniel Orton
    Luke Babbitt

    Average players tier:
    DeMarcus Cousins
    Cole Aldrich
    Avery Bradley
    Gordon Hayward
    Xavier Henry
    Paul George
    Solomon Alabi
    Jarvis Varnado
    James Anderson

    Non-rotation guys tier:
    Hassan Whiteside?

It's my best guess of their entire careers. Care to differ from conventional opinion?

I see I am not alone in the Luke Babbitt as a steal, but there are some crazy (they all can be right cause we don´t know the future) predictions

Larry Sanders, yes he is great, I like his playing skills and his will do be the best, I compare him as a Patrick Patterson, very very professional, but all star???

I don´t know the definition of bust, there are too many people saying that word, and i thought the majority can´t define that word.

Cousins, he is going to be great because he has the skill, but if you ask me if he is going to reach his maximum potential??? I say no because of his mentality, but cmon... bust??? He is probably going to be top 5 centers in the league, is that being a bust??? Or is that not using all the talent he has....'???

I give this guy as an example because people talk too much about busts, when in the end this word should not even be used. Is Thabeet a bust??? Is Greg Oden a bust???

How can people say that a guy picked outside the top 10 is going to be a possible bust???

Outside the top 6 picks (wall, turner, favors, Wesley Johnson, Greg Monroe, DeMarcus Cousins, in any order), my top 3 picks for the Houston Rockets are.

    1. Luke Babbitt, a starting SF, making DM the option to trade others SF, Battier and Ariza (for me Jared Jeffries is not a SF as some people say), maintaining Budinger for the future, making us a bigger monster in sign-and-trades or simple trades, and then try to go for a big name or a position were we lack, aka C. And yes, if I drafted Babbitt I would make him start right up in Houston, that is how hight i am on him, besides he is an adult mentally, not a young kid

    2. Paul George, people say that he is a SF, but he is determined to be a SG, making the sf, sg, pg, already prepared for next season, and very well prepared I must say

    SF - Ariza, Budinger
    SG - Martin, Paul George
    PG - AB, Lowry

Making our second unit (very important) stronger, and only lacking the 7ft rim protector

    3. Hassan Whiteside, yes, I like him, the majority of the people hype him, I don´t, that doesn´t mean I don´t like him. I can´t predict the future for him offensively, I don´t know if he is going to develop that longer range shot or start putting muscle and that pounding people inside, all i Know is that he is going to be a leading shot blocker per min, he will protect the rim, he will jump, he will make his man work for the bucket, he will be a running big like J hill in the fast break, people that hate to pick a raw guy doesn´t understand that he will not start games, he will play, because Yao is will have few mins, but if coach thinks he is still not there, no problem, J.Hill play, and make the kid only play 10 mins, our coaching staff will not rush, plus Yao mentoring him , but this kid can be big, just like the other 2 i mentioned, it is a matter of mentality. And of course he will hide an issue we had for years, backup C, and he is legit, and young. This draft, always gives us a chance to trade our 3rd SF, Battier, 3rd 4th 5th PFs Hayes, Anderson and Jeffries, to pick a player that upgrades the team, without giving no 1st team/backup team players, which is crucial

For those of you that are questioning yourself why did I not choose one of millions PFs that are previewed to be picked early, it is simple, WE DON´T NEED ANOTHER PF, WE HAVE 5 IN OUR ROSTER

    In DM I trust
