If we get into the top 3, we'll probably trade the pick for an impact player. We need help right away, not one of these rookies. If we don't get lucky, we'll just take the best player available. I think that's what Morey was saying.

The talk is Bargnani's camp will put out word he could return to Europe -- like Orlando pick Fran Vasquez did last year -- if he's not a Raptors pick. That should scare off the top teams.

is it just me or has the draft for the past 2 years been really weak, besides 1 or 2 impact players there has not been alot of great players comming out.

That's probably a smart move by him. If there's one position of absolute need for the Raptors right now it's PF

I doubt NO would trade our 2nd round for JR. Would be hot if they did though.

JR for our #8, no thanks. His value isn't that high right now. Maybe trading down for JR and a pick (#12 or #15) for our #8 and something else (2nd rounder maybe).

According to ESPN Lottery+NBA Draft for the Houston Rockets at no. 8 is J.J. Riddick, who was compare to Jeff Hornachek. I've seen him played this year and he is a legit 2 player that has a good shooting skills.

    QUESTION:-
During the Draft when a team such as the Rockets make a Lottery swap and trade say with a team such as Chicago can the traded players now on the two Rosters be named at the time of the lottery?

J.J. Riddick? Who is he? ;)

Just messing with you, but if you go over to the March Madness forum there are extensive threads discussing Reddick's NBA potential...

I played the lottery generator for 20 times. Results:place 8 out of 14 draws, Place 9 out of 5, and Place 10 for one time. The chance is tiny for the top 3.

PICK #1: To the Toronto Raptors
Pick #2: To the Houston Rockets

    That's what i'm hoping for.
