SO, the Cavs traded Mo Williams for Baron Davis and Kyrie Irving?

i'm not sold on him. undersized PF's don't usually dominate. he's gonna have a VERy tough time on defense.

    I don't know.

Big market. Marketable superstar like Blake Griffin. Potentially sexier for Stern than Cleveland.

    I really don't know.

    But you could be right.

Morey needs to be fired. Its the same damn thing every year. Good enough to stay out of the cellar but nowhere near serious playoff contenders. Freaking sucks

You think Morey counted on Yao injuring himself yet again? Troll.

    "We're"? Aren't you a Laker fan?

Perhaps that is the case BUT we do have expiring assets, couple of nice young players and 2 1sts with Morey drafting (who has had great success with mid-late 1st rounders).

Now it depends on who the next coach is.

Flip Yao's expiring contract into a few good players and some cap space then tank. 14th pick year after year after year is so draining. Get rid of Yao and free the rockets from that ball and chain. After he's gone, Morey will have no excuses - build a contender or leave.

You were responding to a poster who made a senseless post. However, the answer to your question is: Yes, given Yao's history, Morey should have expected him to be injured sometime during the season. In addition, Morey is not as naive as you are, that's why he got Miller and tried to get Tyson Chandler.
