I really like Harrison. If he has the type of college year I expect him he's a lock at #1. I think Perry can be #1 though, it really depends. If Minny drafts #1 are they really going to get another top prospect at that position when they have Beasley, Wes, and Brewer? Although I think it's safe to assume Brewer is alright at best.
Didn't they draft their current pg right after picking ricky rubio? Didn't they trade away Ramon Sessions only to sign Luke Ridnour? Didn't they draft something like 3 forwards in the most recent draft? What do you think? (Hint: Kahn!!! always picks the dumbest option possible in any given scenario).
what if we get a top 5 pick? gonna be another dilemna for us...Kyrie Irving or Kanter? if we get Irving, another problem emanates..who's gonna replace Yao? if Kanter is drafted...are we still satisfied with our PG brigade?
Draft Kanter, trade for Rubio's rights and trade for Jeff Green And there you have the new BIG 3 of the future however Kanter has some injury concerns soooooo....
Dude got banged up a bit to start this season but he was averaging 18 and 6 and plays defense. Put him at SF, NOT PF, and give him a point guard...WATCH OUT!
if you put him at SF he wont average 10 points a game...His game is padded BECAUSE he can step out at the 3 and shoot or drive right by the PF that is guarding him.....I dont think his offensive game is suited to play SF......
I think Yao needs another year to rehab. The Spurs got Duncan by having David Robinson be out for the rest of the season when he recovered a month or two before the end. Alternatelty we should limit his minutes to 5 minutes per half and only twice per week and no running from one side of the court to the other.
This guy might coast at times in high school, but his potential and frame for a SF could make him special. He is also attending Baylor and would kind of make him a home grown guy. <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/quxsxSe1YTo?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/quxsxSe1YTo?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object> Draft Bio: http://www.nbadraft.net/players/perry-jones
Kyrie Irving has the potential to be an ELITE point guard in the NBA. He's already drawn comparisons to CP3. Let's start fresh with a franchise floor general and go from there: <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CPP7pf2Ng3s?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CPP7pf2Ng3s?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
Perry Jones ftw! Knowing the Rockets they would probably trade the pick for a role player or make the "safe" pick instead of drafting on athleticism and potential.
That has to be the dumbest thing anybody has ever said. All you have to judge from on Morey's history is mid-late 1st rounders. Oh big whop, we traded the 8th pick in a shallow draft for one of the best perimeter defenders in the game. Gay was a project and we had a team which was trying to win games. Battier played very well during the years in which we were relevant and who knows whether or not Gay would have panned out playing alongside McGaydy. People around here act as if Rudy Gay is a superstar. He is putting up good numbers on a **** team, does that make him a good player? Maybe, maybe not. Jury is still out. So what?
Assuming there is lock out and next season is lost how exactly is the 2012 draft order determined? Could a proper tanking get us two high picks in a row?
