The new season is upon us and we can already bet on preseason games. Time to revive this thread! I'm still learning how to be profitable consistently month in, month out. Preseason games are a rollercoaster, but the odds are so high you can punt here or there and still be profitable I think. I mean, look at those: PHI vs Boston @2.75 (PHI wins) NOP vs Atlanta @2.2 (NOP wins) WAS vs CHI @3.1 (WAS wins) DEN vs LAL @1.82 (DEN -2.5) If you take first two and put the same money on both of them, you will be in profit even if strike once. Also, young WAS against rusty Rose and no-chemistry lineup with Gasol...3.1? Am I missing something?
Haha, well what are the odds... Today's games: MIN vs IND @2.4 ORL vs MIA @3,27 HOU vs DAL @2,36 GSW vs LAL @2.45 Indiana...I feel like they will start slow without Stephenson and PG. Rubio and the rooks will try to prove something. Orlando had some surprising games last season with their young guys and they are improving. Bosh and Wade are off. Houston...because I'm a homer GSW...because odds are high. I hope to nail two of them and I'm in the profit!
The day before yesterday saw me win only one bet out of four, but yesterday I won three out of four, so the profit is nice. Today there's only one interesting game: MEM vs MIL @2.4 Milwaukee is clear underdog here, but Memphis got nothing to prove, while Milwaukee is full of up-and-coming young talent. The odds are high enough to risk a bit. In the long run it should pay off. Btw, anyone else ready to bet on preseason games? What about the regular season? Any bettors?
Nice profit, congrats! I wanted to bet on HOU yesterday but decided against it at the last moment. Preseason games are like a coin flip and I don't want to get burned. But I placed one on season win total (O 48.5), if Dwight and Harden are healthy this one should be a lock.
Milwaukee won, so the profit is nice. Today I went with: UTA vs POR @3.1 MEM vs HOU @2.4 Utah is not bad at all and full of young players, willing to show their skills. Portland, not so much. And the odds are very high. Memphis...I'm not sure about it, but the odds are high enough to take the risk. Houston almost lost against Dallas without Dirk and today Howard and Donuts will face some great defenders under the rim. Also Memphis' style doesn't suit HOU, so a surprise is possible.
Thanks! Odds for preseason are high, so I'm in profit even if I win only 40% of the bets. Right now I'm at 54% ROI or so, which is great. If I finish around 15%, I'll be calling it a success.
I lost the HOU bet, but I won the better one - Utah dismantled Portland in 4th quarter and took the win. Tonight there's only one interesting to me... ORL vs IND @2.62
So Orlando won against Indiana and I won 7 bets out of 12. With average odd being 2.57, this is not sustainable at all and I'm still waiting for my losing streak Today I found an interesting game... LAC vs POR @2.2 I don't know if CP3 or Griffin are out, but it's very weird LAC is an underdog against Portland, who is playing like crap in preseason.
you perform wins/money withdrawal to credit card? how much are withdrawal fees and whats the minimum amount to withdraw'
There is one free withdrawal per month. I don't know how much fee do you have to pay for consequential withdrawals, as I didn't read the whole rules. Also don't know the minimum, I think it's 10 or 15 EUR.
Sorry I didn't answer to one of your questions. I perform withdrawals to one of the internet bank accounts (I use Neteller). You can actually have Neteller send you a credit card which you use as a normal credit card and it uses your funds at Neteller. I thought that was pretty neat. Oh and the credit card is black, so people around you probably think you're rich
All I know is that I'm betting over on Westbrook in the first 3-5 games of the season or until they adjust it high enough. With Durant out he will go off for sure.
Unfortunately it does, it takes 2.5% if you deposit with VISA or Mastercard. So if you want to deposit $100, it takes $102.5 from your card. It's not a lot I know, but money is money. However, if you're good at betting, you probably won't need many refills to your neteller account
Yesterday I lost because Portland shot 68% from three. I'm sure it won't happen many times during season. Today I have: PHX vs HOU @2.34 TOR vs NYK @2.22 Harden and Dwight are out and Hornacek will probably try a lot of small ball. Since they have great guards, this could spell trouble for HOU. Toronto an underdog against NYK? Do bookies know something we don't, like entire Toronto's starting lineup is out? Because that's the only way I see NYK beating TOR, at least during regular season. But this is preseason, so what do I know.
