Yeah, I'm glad I didn't get my bet in on the over. The first half of that game was brutal, and then in the second the Grizz were just too hobbled to compete. They are really decimated by injuries right now but that team will be damn good by playoff time if they are healthy. I like their offseason pickups.
Today they are 10 games and some of them I really like... UTA - POR: I'm tempted to take UTA +11.5 because I don't think POR will be able to cover that spread. Since Burke started playing again UTA looks much better. They are 3-2 in their last five. LAL - SAC: I was astounded to see SAC is the favourite (-3), but then I read Blake and Gasol are improbable to start. Cousins is bothered by ankle, but he will probably start. Don't know what to do here, if anything. TOR - PHX: Based on recent Rudy Gay's play and his inefficiency, I'm tempted to take PHX -4.5 OKC - NOP: OKC is only -4 against one of the worst defensive teams with Davis off the floor, while OKC is one of the best offensive teams? I think I'll take that. GSW-HOU: The line is not opened yet, but with recent defense I think HOU doesn't have a chance against Curry and Thompson. Iggy is not there to contain Harden, but Thompson is a good enough defender. CLE-ATL: I think Atlanta wins, but -6.5 is just too much... DEN-BOS: I kinda like -4.5 from DEN, but not enough to bet. West teams should dominate the East, but coming from a Cavaliers loss, I fear Denver is not over the "crisis" yet. MIL-WAS: Anything but a win for WAS should be a surprise here, but -10 is too risky IMO. Anyone with a solid tip? I'll take only OKC and UTA bets, and later the GSW if the spread won't be too high. Our bench is making a lot of comebacks in 4th quarters, so anything over -6.5 for GSW would be too risky.
I think the Kings are going to destroy the Lakers, especially if Cousins plays. The Lakers are very injured and the Kings have been well since the trade, even though they've lost a bunch of nailbiters. I watched their last game and they were the better team than OKC for most of the game.
I'm not sure what happened. When I left the house, the Kings were up 10 and it was going as I thought. Checked the score a few hours later and they lost by 6. WTF.
My picks for today: LAC - CLE (LAC -6) @1.971 I think LAC is getting better on defense with each game. Bynum and Waiters are playing great basketball, but it's 2nd game of b2b for them and Kyrie is struggling. As one of worse defenders on PG position he will probably get abused by CP3. GSW - MEM (MEM -1) @2.12 Memphis has always had GSW's number. Today should be no different: they have good perimeter defense to stop Thompson and slow down Curry, and Randolph will abuse Lee in the post. DET - CHI (DET +2.5) @2.03 I think CHI will be phisically and mentally exhausted from win against Miami. I think that win doesn't count as much as some think because they are always super motivated against Miami and they are playing extra physical against them. Since LeBron & co are saving themselves for playoffs, they rather lose then fight and get injured. Also DEtroit is on a win streak. DAL - POR (POR -5.5) @2.03 Being one of the worse perimeter defenders, Dallas should succumb to Lillard-Matthews combo. And Aldridge should have a great game against Nowitzki.
I'm making my return to nba betting today after a very long Strech off. Bobcats -6.5 Boston W Spurs W Dallas W $30 on for a 590 payout. Get er done Murray
You are making an accumulator? with four entries? I'd say good luck, but we already know this bet didn't come through...one out of four.
I took a few days off because of work and because I felt I don't have any edge these days... Anyhow, today I hope for those two picks to work: HOU - GSW (GSW -3.5) @2.0 Houston's starters will be dead tired, Sampson doesn't seem to control the subsitutions as good as McHale and GSW is fired up because of not-so-great start of the season. PHI - TOR (PHI +7.5) @2.04 With all the mambo-jambo with players going in and out, trade rumours etc. I was a bit surprised to see TOR has been given such big spread. PHI is without MCW I believe, but they have a cohesive team that learned to play together.
