I like the way the Clippers matchup with OKC and they've played them very tough the last three years. I think the 5.5 is about right considering it is a back-to-back 3/4 nights for the Clippers and a long layoff for the Thunder. I also wouldn't be surprised if it moved to 6 or 6.5 by tomorrow. If the moneyline comes up, I'm going to just put a small wager on it. The Clippers are in a good groove against uptempo teams and I could see an upset here. Keep in mind that even after 2-0 tonight my season record is under .500 though!
I think I might stay away from the LAC-OKC game. That's a pretty sharp line. Denver at home against the Bulls looks enticing if it's bet up to Nuggets +2 or +2.5. I might have to pull the trigger on that one...nothing definite though. It seems like it was a good night for everybody in this thread. I'm glad we all cashed something. The struggle goes on tomorrow!
I took the Clippers ML +200, although I'm not saying it's a good bet. I just think they have a better than 33% chance of beating the Thunder.
Lol, I went out for dinner and my girl put a gun to my head and I bet both of these plays impulsively: That's 6-0-1 in my last 7 picks. That one push should have been a winner too if it wasn't for a minor miracle by the Pacers in NY. I'll probably make two more picks tomorrow and then take a break before I cool down. Special shout out to the poster artisgilmore. Thanks for all your trolling. Edit: I believe that's 10-3-1 ytd for a blistering .769 winning %.
Nice work, but don't get the mindset that this is beatable long-term! For basketball, your main edges are going to be early on (preseason betting is extremely profitable) and at the ends, when teams are tanking or resting. Midseason games like we're at now are going to be a crapshoot where long downswings are inevitable unless you have insider information.
I'm on the Pistons -4, Grizzlies +1.5, and the Bulls +3.5. Win, lose, or draw, I'm probably done for a while after tonight. Good luck to everyone.
You're preaching to someone who lives in Vegas. I'm pretty sure Kwame is well aware of how sports betting works lol.
Haha, true, but I've been doing this a long time and I know that after a heater I've sometimes though there was skill in this game too! That said, at the end of the season it is very easy to make money via NBA bets. I'll post some "lock" picks this year when the time comes.

That was a brilliant bet and I wish I had been around at the half to make it myself. Basically you were just betting on Indiana to come back to win the game, which is practically a given. Really nice job!
