You're on fire. I like how you're being selective with your plays. I'm looking at two games tomorrow: Wizards +3 vs Minn. & Rockets -11 vs Boston. Nothing definite yet though. Edit: Also taking a look at Kings -1.5 or ml vs. Phoenix.
I'm back after taking a break so I'm going to have a few more games than usual. This is what I have for tonight: Wizards +4, Rockets -11, and Kings ml. Might take another break depending on how this night goes.
The Grantland's NBA betting lines series are hilarious. I wish it could become a daily installment. Although the Suns just lost ATS to the nets, I'm still betting on the Suns +2 tonight.
Thank you gentleman, it was a very profitable night. Funny how haters like samfisher and trolls like meh won't dare show their face in a thread like this.
Generally I find betting after the first two weeks of the season to be futile as it's really hard to beat the 10% vig without having an edge (which offseason uncertainty can produce early on). I suppose the Wolves will be a 1 or 2 point favorite and it's really hard to pick a side there. They have been tough at home and the Clippers haven't been that great on the road. Only thing going in the Clippers favorite is that it is a back-to-back for the Wolves coming off a close game and the Clippers had a day off. So.. yeah, I really have no idea. One thing I can say is that Chris Paul is due for a good shooting game and the Wolves lackluster defense may be just thing thing to wake him up.
Yeah, the T-Wolves opened up as 1 point favorites. I was really hoping that it would be LAC -1.5 and the line would be bet up to -2 and then I would take Minny +2. At this point, I'm with you, it's a tough one and really a coin-flip game in my opinion. I'm looking to make one solid play tomorrow. Probably gonna look at a few more games before posting a pick.
The game that stands out to me is the Knicks +6 at home vs the Pacers. The Knicks have looked horrible this year and it's hard to see that line holding up. I would have put it more like Knicks +10. Of course, I have done terribly in my early sports betting so far so I'm not exactly the expert.
That line stood out to me too. The fact that it's relatively low leads me to believe that it'll be a close game, but I just have a hard time putting money on NYK and backing that team. That line will probably go up to Knicks +6.5, but if it holds firm from there then New York might be the play. It'll have all the characteristics of a trap game. The feedback and commentary is much appreciated.
All signs point to a Pacers blowout so I'm not sure why that line started so low, unless it's just the assumption that the Knicks can't be THAT bad. Probably if I were doing better on sports betting I would put a good bet on the Pacers right now, as I expect it to move at least a few points by gametime.
Without any kind of analysis and only looking at that line, seems like a super tarp. Very interested on how much it moves tomorrow, but Knicks looking like the play just to be on the same side as Vegas.
Luck be damned, I just put a smallish bet on the Pacers. I just can't see the Knicks making this even close.
Thanks man. I just avoid outsmarting myself. You know basketball so it's easy to talk yourself into and out of bets. Hit the Rockets last night but only for $200.
