Nice win on MIA Kwame (wonder what odds you could've got for Miami -40 LOL). Like the Spurs as well. Both games had big public dogs, and that usually never works out well for them.
1-1 tonight... I hedged with a small in-game wager on the Warriors and the under, but I won't count that towards my overall record. Anyway, the Warriors are for real. They're making the Spurs look even slower and older than they are. This series can very well go back to SA with GState up 3-1. Call me square, but I'm already on the Pacers -3.5 and the Grizzlies -4.5 for the Saturday game 3s. Looks like the line for game 3 between the Heat and Bulls is going to be around Miami -6.5.
GSW really surprised me, but I guess they shouldn't have, because they're now 8-0 ATS in the playoffs... 11 in a row ATS including regular season.
So the lines for tomorrow's games are Miami -7 and the Warriors -2.5 and it looks like the majority of people are betting on both favorites to cover the spread. The spread seems high, especially given the fact that the Bucks were a 7 point underdog to Miami at Milwaukee in Game 3 of the 1st round, but I kind of like Miami in this spot. If it were the regular season, I would say pound the Bulls since the Heat have a tendency to let up sometimes, but this is the playoffs. The Golden State game is really interesting because at some point the Spurs will start hitting their shots, especially the open ones. However, the Warriors are playing at a ridiculously high level. As el gnomo pointed out, they've covered the spread every game in the playoffs so far. I wish Popovich would put Leonard on Thompson to try and shut him down and let Curry get his, because nobody is going to be able to stop Steph. I want to take the Spurs +2.5, but I don't know if I can bet against the Warriors at home. Anybody have any thoughts on either of these games?
What do you guys think of these series prices? Surprised the Warriors and Pacers are both still dogs. 871 WARRIORS SERIES +155 872 SPURS SERIES -175 873 BULLS SERIES +1400 874 HEAT SERIES -2500 875 PACERS SERIES EV 876 KNICKS SERIES -120 877 GRIZZLIES SERIES -170 878 THUNDER SERIES +150
Alright guys, I'm on the Heat -6.5 (bough half a point for insurance before the spread was bet up to -8.5) and I'm on the Spurs +1.5 (1st half only). As mentioned earlier, I'm also on Indy -3.5 and Griz -4.5 for tomorrow. A couple of my friends are also on the Spurs moneyline, but I'm not betting against the Warriors at Oracle for a full game. I think they'll win at least 2 games against San Antonio at home. Depending on the how the first half of the Golden State game goes, I might make a 2nd half bet as well. I'll edit this post and update it at halftime.
Yes sir, I was surprised to see that line so low at -3.5 for the Pacers when it first came out. I had to jump on it immediately. It got up to Indy -5 at some places before tip off yesterday. Glad you got on it too. It also looks like the books learned their lesson and have opened with Indy -5 for game 4. 4-0 on all these games...5-1 on my last six bets to bring my overall post-season record to 28-10-1. Its been a nice ride so far. Hopefully some of you have hopped on board and enjoyed it with me. Let's see if it continues tomorrow with Golden State +1. Edit: Just went to place my bet on the Warriors game & I don't like the line movement on this game. I will wait until tomorrow & then decide. I'll update this post either way.
I didn't think this one was gonna cash, but I got Warriors +2 right after tip off. Your boy is on fire, but I'm sure I'll cool down eventually. 29-10-1 in the post-season so far: <a target='_blank' title='ImageShack - Image And Video Hosting' href='http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/850/img2063l.jpg/'><img src='http://img850.imageshack.us/img850/8805/img2063l.jpg' border='0'/></a><br>Uploaded with <a target='_blank' href='http://imageshack.us'>ImageShack.us</a>
Wasnt too sure about the game so i waited until haltime, had a hunch GS was going to come out strong so i took the -.5 for third quarter and -1 for 2nd half. Bingo!
It really looks like there's not much interest in this thread anymore, but for those that are interested I'm on the Bulls +8.5 and the Griz -4 tonight. I bought half a point insurance for both teams.
Might not be as many posts, but I'm sure people are still checking in and reading, especially with your recent run . Keep em coming!
