Well dunno if there is scripting involved but I can tell you this. My wife use to be the receptionist for the Rockets/Comets when they were in Greenway and when the Comets were winning their 3rd championship there was some pressure from the WNBA to slit our superstars (Swoopes, Cooper, & Thompson). B/c by Houston winning all the Championship it was hurting the new league. It wasn't creating interest throughout. So the league officials do have some say and influence. After Rockets won their 1st championship there was some talk about their schedule being tough and weird. Flying from east to west coast and having to play too many back to back game especially teams that have been rested. The NBA makes the teams schedule so the could tinker with it. Amazing how Miami & LA are playing Christmas day, Shaq vs Kobe. Wow, that worked out for them (David Stern & Co.)
There's nothing amazing about it! Do you understand the concept of marketing. There is no way that they would schedule a hawks-bobcats game instead. Your message does not prove anything. This is dumb, and I too am kind of dumb for replying to this. Oh well.
