Is it possible that the whole NBA is scripted? Is there a schedule for where teams are automatically supposed to lose and win, when players get injured, when players get traded, etc.? Was T-Mac coming here meant to be and Shaq and Kobe divorce meant to be too? Could it be that championships are already planned for the future, when Detroit won last year, it was supposed to show America that teamwork can win champs too? Could it be that the Rockets are planned for championships in the future? Is it possible that the NBA is scripted like Wrestling Entertainment? Us losing right now, maybe its planned that we'll have a huge winning streak soon?

yeah.. the fans are scripted and everything is via animation. Yao is actually 5"9 but digitally enhanced to look taller.

Rich has a point.. kind of like the NFL which I think is actually owned by the MOB (for betting purposes)

The NBA is influenced alot by the front office Stern and his crew of officials.

no matter how talented a team is or how great a player they have on their team if calls are always going against them they will be stuck at the bottom of the standings.

example: no matter what the Clippers always seem to have calls go against them. If we think we are unfairly officiated watch some Clips game I feel their pain.

I think the league can decide who they want to favor as in teams and players. Is it coincidence that certain players (Shaq and Kobe) always seem to be league leaders in FTA's?

funny when they were on the same team but last time I looked Shaq was #1 FTA per game and Kobe #2 .

how many points does 14 or 15 extra FTA's per game affect your scoring and mindset?

If your team can score or defend but you always get to the FT line you will always be competitive.

I feel the league wanted the Lakers to always be there at the top someone to root against ...

Dont be suprised if a former official someday outs the league and states he was told to favor certain players and teams.

room4rentsf, thank you, thats what i was trying to think of but couldnt think of it

the FOULS look as if theyre scripted by the refs... like to make yao angry, maybe the NBA want yao to become foul prone so he could be more aggressive

Someone once asked Tom Clancy, "What is the difference between reality and fiction?" Clancy answered, "Fiction has to make sense."

The NBA doesn't make sense. Nuff said.
