OK here are my 5: 5. VSpan shows alot of promise and heart and is a key player on our rotation 4. Battier proves his worth as the glue to this team as well as team leader 3. Rockets make a significant trade to grab a 4th starter and poss 5th starter 2. Yao & Tmac become the top scoring duo in the NBA 1. Rockets make it to 2nd round at worst
5. Yao dunks on Shaq three times in each of the Rockets-Heat game. 4. Tracy McGrady averages 25 pts/8 rbs/6 assists/ 2 stls/ 1 blk throughout the season. 3. Our rookies turn out to have such a huge impact that they are named the quad-Rookies of the Year (nigh impossible) 2. T-Mac and Yao stays healthy 82 games and give about 11 games in the playoffs. 1. Get to the second round and lose in seven games by a margin of 1 point.
I'd tell you i would hate the rockets even more if i see that, I'd rather see them get eliminated 4-0
Ok, so number 1 should be: 1. Get to the second round, win the series by a margin of one point in seven games, then be swept in four games in the Western Conference Finals.
5. Novak becomes a Bull that can rebound. 4. With Battier's help, we become a 4th quarter clampdown defensive team. 3. Alston's assists & shooting % go up. 2. A better team 3pt shooting %. 1. T-Mac & Yao play 75 games together. These things happen & we'll have a lotta icing on our cake. If they don't, it'll be egg on our face!!
Any of those powerhouses will have to play at least 6 games with us. No way we gonna fold over so easily.
5. Nobody notices the backcourt (good or bad) at all because of the solid if unspectacular play of Alston (10 ppg, 7 apg, 44 %fg) and Snyder (12 ppg, 4 rpg, 35% 3pfg), V-Span, Head, and Lucas (all three bring scoring off the bench) 4. Yao continues the tear he was on late last season as the most dominant center in the league (23 ppg, 11 rpg, 38 min) 3. T-Mac silences the critics and proves he is a top 5 player and dominant force in heart and talent all season long 2. Battier shows the trade was smart by being the great role player we need. 1. No blockbusters, but one midseason trade that brings one more solid frontcourt rotation player, aka the missing piece.
1. Trade Juwan Howard 2. Yao dominates Shaq in both regular season games 3. Rockets clinch playoff birth 4. Rockets wins first round playoff 4-2 5. Rockets plays Mavs or Suns in semis, they win of course.
