Thanx, Severe Rockets Fan. I was worried there for a moment because I could never get League Pass to work well last year. Other than Houston, the only other place I've lived where I could get every Rockets game was .... Las Vegas!
I suggest getting League Pass. You get all the games that aren't being broadcasted. That's the way I saw the Rockets 82 times last season instead of only once. There's 10 games being broadcasted nationally this year but if you don't live in the Houston area you'll be missing out on at least 72 games. Get NBA League Pass, now!
When I had League Pass for the 2nd half last year, I loved it. The Clips were the team I liked to watch the most, mainly because of Walton's commentary. Not to mention, they are an exciting team who played in a crapload of close games. The NBA.com channel is pretty cool right now, since they show a lot of vintage games that you'd see on ESPN Classics. Yesterday evening, they showed Game 7 of the 95 Series against the Suns. Best part is they don't go to commercial breaks that often, like once every 15-20 minutes. And all their commercials are the old "I Love This Game!" type commercials the NBA has had in the past. During the season, the NBA.com channel will have "live look-in" type things where they show bits and pieces of live games on split screens. This is not enough for me to go around from just buying the real deal. While you do get up to 40 games a week, you'd only end up wanting watch like 10 or so a week. Mainly because of the Eastern Conference snoreathons. Nonetheless, it's a wise idea to get it, if it doesn't prevent you from having a roof over your head, or food on the table.
NBA League Pass is worth every penny! This will be the third year I've ordered it. I don't live in Houston, but I've been able to watch just about every Rocket game. And nba.com tv has great highlights of every game played, plus some good interviews.
How will Jordan's return affect Rockets' nationaly televised games? Do we still get 10 of them? I have read somewhere that one of the TV stations is planning on maxing out the Wizards games...... I was just wondering if the whole national TV schedule for the upcoming season will be rewritten soon....? Does anyone know about this?
and if you live in seattle, maybe in other cities too...u get 2 free tickets to the sonics game. hopefully i can request which ones and go to the houston game...ahahahahahahaahahhaha...i love my rockets...
