Hello you're on CLUTCHFANS, not Jazz fan forum.

Bad idea and you can just daydream about these kind of trades.

TMac's not going anywhere...Battier especially. DMorey confirmed it 100 times and even Tracy said in last interview that he contacted the "upper" guys in the club that guarantee him a place on Rockets team.

Sure some of the fans would love him somewhere else but that's not going to happen... at least not this year

I'm glad the writers on NBA think they know so much about the Rockets. Tracy depending on which one comes back, will either help{T-Mac} or hurt us{Tracy}. I just don't think Shane's going to be traded because he's more than a player on the team, him & Scola are the leaders of the team, kinda like Dikembe was last season, and all the young guys need a leader to help guide them, and at least with Shane, he knows we're missing at least 20pts a game, he'll step up and do the best he can do. We could always have him come off the bench, he doesn't have to start. He could be the 6th man.

I want to apologize for my rant, I just think if all these people knew so much, there would be more lottery winners in the world. I think that Morey knows much more than the NBA, any media source and even the fans, he'll do whats best for the team.

That would be terrible, like you said. We don't need 1 year rentals.

Trading Shane and Luis for the sake of making a move is a bad idea, but DM must remain open to the idea of trading them in a good deal for youth. We need leadership, but getting into the 1st round is of no use in the long run. The Tracy and Yao period is over,Shane and Scola can't help us out for much longer.

Trading Shane and Luis for those players would really signify that the team is rebuilding. They would basically give up this season and maybe next to form a whole new team. I doubt Morey would do so and try to break what He has been building the past years. The injuries are a major road blocks but it is not a reason to break up the team completely.

Tracy would probably help more then hurt the team. The team has a few options when it comes to offense and this is were Tmac comes in. He may not be the same player but He will still be competitive and effective.

If McGrady can lead a team thats core players consisted of Pat Garrity, Darrel Armstrong and Mike Miller to 44 wins, he must have some value to us. Even if he only makes it back to 80% of his former self. Thats still better for us then 9 out of 10 trade proposals made by clutchfan members.

I know what he wants, but I feel rebuilding is what we need to do. Rebuilding carries greater risks, without a doubt but this approach isn't going to get us anywhere in the long run. Rebuilding will cause pain, and I admit there are many teams which are perpetually stuck, but it can also lead to a better outcome in the long run IMO. That doesn't mean I want to dump Luis or Shane for just a couple of picks. Neither of them, can get a lottery pick. The upcoming 2010 draft is expected to be better than this year's draft.

Without Yao or Tracy we can't do much. How can one rely on them? Yao could break his foot again,Tracy isn't physically or mentally fit enough to play.We don't even know when he can step on the court. What will he do when things get tight? His expiring contract is of limited use,we won't have any money when Yao picks up his player option.
