1.LeBron James 2.Shawn Marion 3.Josh Smith 4.Paul Pierce 5.Caron Butler ............... ............... ............... 20.Shane Battier Another unfair ranking. Shane should be upper than 20...
I don't understand what do you want from my grammar? But ok that'n not the key. Look at the list, I meant there are players who are upper and I don't think they're better than Shane
I agree.. I think Shane should be upper, but I think the reason why he's not as high up is because he doesn't boast the stats like his fellow SF's that are above him. Btw link: http://www.nba.com/fantasy/draft_kit/sfrankings1_15.html
Yes..... I don't understand it too, cause when you look at the list there are better players than he is. Paul Pierce only number 4, Luol Deng number 8...Of course Smith was Atlanta's top guy when Johnson was out with injury but the spot number 3 isn't good for him.
(1) You should provide a link (2) If you provided a link, it would be clear to everyone that this is a Fantasy Basketball ranking. And, hence, completely irrelevant.
Maybe not with his stats (as far as fantasy goes). I think he needs to be a little bit more tangible to be ranked higher. But I'd rank him higher than a couple of those guys if it were pure value instead of fantasy.
wow melo not in top 3? what the hell were they smoking. he may not get a lot of stls/blks but he could lead the league in scoring this season.
Battier is that type of player that can help the team in several ways. He can score but when he cannot make a shot he can defend, draw charges or make the game tougher fot opponent's best scorer. That's why he is really good
Fantasy is Fantasy. They can even put Melo or LeBron at no. 30... I think he should be higher cause he's much more useful player than it seems
Dude I'm in complete agreement with you. I think he's a good player, especially on the defensive end. But what I think all of us is saying is that we wouldn't really pick him top 20 in our fantasy leagues. His efforts won't show in stats. I'd pick Josh Smith over him on my fantasy team.
Which is why I don't understand your point in this thread. Of course a fantasy ranking will underrate Battier. There's nothing unfair about that.
If your league counts 3 pointers made and 3PT%, Battier is much more valuable than that. If not, he might be worth less. I caught some flack for drafting him in the 6th round last year, but it turned out really well.
