The kid can play, no doubt. But let's pump the brakes a bit here with the comparisons.....

I don't see this team can let Lowry go without getting back a promising PG.

You already have to pray no PG injuries if you only have two of those. Now if you let one of them go,who runs the team in that case? more Ariza? mre Conroy?

I have not read the exchange here but I will add that Dallas is really high on Roddy and he has had some pretty big games for them. They see him as the future for their pg position.

I misquoted, crazy part was refering to his statement that Roddy will be better than Brooks next year.

    Word is:

""Because of three playoff series between the teams in recent seasons, along with Cleveland's signing of Larry Hughes after the 04-05 season, the Wizards are reluctant to trade Antawn Jamison to the Cavaliers.

The prevailing sentiment from people around the league is that Ernie Grunfeld has no desire to help Danny Ferry and the Cavaliers win a championship by trading Jamison to them.""

Really like this one except for Bud. Since we're getting Hickson, I'd sub Scola &/or Andersen for Bud.

Doubt they want 'two' 30 year olds when Budinger is what 23-24? Jamison ain't going to Cleveland.

This will make the Rockets a much better team if Tough Juice comes along.

I hate to give up Scola, but Landry has a higher ceiling.

I thought Feigen mentioned in the video that the Rockets don't want to trade Brooks, Landry, or Budinger...

Damn giving up Scola, I just don't know about doing that. I wish the Rockets would only trade TMac, Cook, Taylor or Dorsey. Those I wish would be the only players the Rockets would have to trade.

    This I'd Do:

    Jamison / Butler / Stevenson / Their 5th pick
    FOR:
    McGrady / Budinger / Taylor / Cook / Our 14th pick

With alot of bigs in the draft. They could gamble and hope one slides down. With the 5th pick and Washington. They may hold more interest on a wing player now, rather then gamble losing one then. We have wings and are gambeling later for a wing with more bigs in the draft. With Butler, we would still have Budinger, Battier, Ariza so you'd surely have to move him. Adelman like to play Brooks / Lowry alot, because they are effective. Adelman likes to play Scola at center at times with Jamison at the '4'. Then factor in Landry also playing the three at times with Jamison spacing the floor similar as to how Andersen would do that makes Landry effective in the paint.

There's gotta be a way for us to get Butler without touching Chase, Landry, Scola, or Lowry.

I'd almost want to give up a future pick to keep our core group of players.

    Scola/Dorsey/Andersen
    Jamison/Landry
    Butler/Landry/Battier
    Ariza/Lowry
    Brooks/Lowry/Conroy
