Not to mention a starting line-up of

    Jennings
    Redd or Salmons
    Maggete
    Mbah a Moute or Ilyasova
    Bogut

Well, to be fair, "Which team has the best bench" doesn't exactly have to mean "Which team has the best bench in the NBA".

But either way, they made some decent choices.

Personally, I would have put the Lakers instead of the Bucks, but overall I think those teams' benches have legitimate cases for being better than the Rockets.

bull **** im pretty level headed when it comes to the rockets. meaning im not blind when it comes to my love for them.

there are several players that come off the bench from other teams that are better then what the rockets have. but as a whole they are very very solid and will on a very very ;) regular basis kill other benches every night.

Let the media do what they want to do but the Rockets need to prove how good they are on the court. I am pretty confident that, with good health and a little luck, they will make the media pundits eat crow.

    I wouldn't worry about it.

The deepest benches are made for the fattest rear-ends. Fortunately our guys are in great shape.

    :p

Maybe they were talking about the actual benches the players sit on  If not this is a bad poll.

kinda surprise POR is not on the list.

    Bayless/ Fernandez / Matthews/ Camby/ Przybilla

    +

Babbitt (#16th pick) + Williams (21st pick)+ Jphnspn (early secondrounder) + patty Mills.

They have more to gripe about the snub than HOU.

we are the only team in the league who in practice, our bench could beat our starting roster on some days

Don't know who's the deepest or the best (oh I do but don't want to flex my homer muscle), but when account for age also, man you gotta like us.

I doubt Fernandez will play for them this upcoming season...

But with that said their still pretty effing deep...

With that said I still like our bench better...

    Bayless | Matthews | Babbitt | Camby | Przybilla

    vs

    Lowry | C. Lee/JT | Budinger | Pat/Hayes | Miller/Hill

Um, if rebounding wasnt a standout trait for Chuck he wouldnt be in the league. He's always been a great rebounder. Couldnt disagree more :(

Lmao. I'm a Rocket fan to the grave, but theres no way in hell you can say West/Wafer/Nate Rob aint better than Lowry, PP, Cbud. Nate alone could arguably be better than Brooks. PP hasnt even suited up and yet ur already claiming who he's better than lol. I think we need to sit down and re-evaluate this a little bit

While I agree on your PP take, I do think that the Celtics trio of Nate/Wafer/West would not be better then what the Rox can send out in Lowry/CBUD/Lee. Nate is ULTRA streaky and is not better the AB, while Lowry is a more consistent option who picks up fouls, setting up his teammates and actually plays defense. West is a nice player when he has his head screwed on straight but who knows when or if that will happen while the Rockets thought enough of CBud to feel comfortable moving Trevor and open up more minutes for the guy. Lee is a far better player then Wafer, Von is a nice sparkplug who is instant offense but never passed, played little to NO D and was again unreliable.
