id like to see charlotte more, since there an expansion team and how their fans recover from the george shinn fiasco. unfortunate teams: atlanta has 0 national tv games (1 nbatv) boston has 1 toronto-0 clippers-1 wizards-0 hornets-2 warriors-4 sonics-4 bulls-1
Toronto has none???? Thats pretty shocking IMO. isn't Vince the leading all-star vote getter the last few years?
Man I just moved to San Antonio, it's not easy being a Rockets fan here in Spurs land. I took my clutch bear off my car window cuz I was afraid of a break in.
Has anyone figured out the format of the schedule yet? How many games vs the East, vs. your own division and such ...?
Heat at Lakers, Christmas day. Think that might get some hype? (and you could see that one coming a mile away).
Maybe the NBA knows he'll be gone (either by trade, or injury), if not at the beggining of the season, at some point during the season.
A little analysis: Yeowch! What a way to come out of the gate. I guess we'll see just what we are made of with back to back right off the bat in Detroit and Toronto. Then back to back TRAVEL dates @ Mephis then home for Sacramento, which starts a four game homestand - all against playoff teams including Rudy T. and the Lakers. After that, a reprieve with games at NJ and ATL, home for NYC and then a western road trip that could be brutal with the Clips, Portland (back to back), Sac and Utah before coming home on the second night of a back to back against Denver. THREE of our thirteen back to backs in the first month and ALL of them against playoff contenders on both halves. Yikes. This seems much more like it. No back to back games and only 4 of the 14 are on the road with most against the eastern conference. Only real contenders on the list are 2 against Dallas and 1 home against SA. Another New Year's Eve with the Rockets. About half and half road/home this month with the toughest stretch being the first five games. The @Orlando should be fun as well as the home against Orlando just a few days later. Four back-to-backs including a four-games-in-five-nights run that, fortunately, includes Orlando and New York. The other back to backs are travel games but not aginst the toughest competition. Short schedule in the month with only 10 games and the All Star break. Not a real tough schedule for this month. Tough, busy month toward the end of the season. 11 of the 16 games on the road and four back-to-backs ALL of which have travel in between. The good news is that there would appear to be a number of teams on this list that are very beatable, but that last run against NO, SA, Utah and Portland will be tough. Finishing out with a good month. A lot of also-rans and split evenly home/road. ZERO back to back games and only one against a projected decent playoff team with a few others vying for contention. --- Really up and down schedule. The first month is brutal but better to have it be the first month than the last.
Mar 11 through Apr 13 is going to be a brutal stretch, especially if Yao sputters out again this year. 19 games over 34 days with no more than a day off between games and 3 back to backs. Nasty. Hopefully they'll build a huge cushion in December and Feb. Evan
dang.. carlos boozer's return to cleveland and k-mart's return to jersey arent on national tv. Also, nash's return to Dallas isnt on TV. Also, it sucks that Francis' return to H-town is on NBATv. Christmas Day should have a doubleheader like always, or at least make the lakers/heat matchup primetime

We're working on which nights will be the retro nights right now -- we had to wait for the schedule to be finalized before we could begin to lock everything down. They won't be until January, though. And we'll be bringing back the original Houston Rockets uniforms, the ones that the team wore when it first moved to Houston. Tim
