Said he's not gonna try to win ASG MVP tonight, just gonna try and have fun and entertani.

I hope he's just saying that to be modest and unselfish, he deserved it last year and it would be great if he finally won it.

If not, I'll be VERY satisfied with an off-the-glass dunk T-Mac trademark dunk.

Pryuen, I love you my man -- you're definitely one of this board's MVPs. But dangit man, you are the quintessential YOF if I ever knew one.

    Finally Some Rest
Posted by Tracy McGrady on Feb. 18, 2007, 6:30 p.m. ET

Man, I was tired last night. I crashed. I heard Gerald did good in the Dunk competition, but I missed it, I was sleeping. I met with some TV guys for an interview in my hotel room today, just a couple minutes, and then over to the game.

    Game Time
I'm not expecting much tonight, just gonna let it come. I'm gonna be starting but I'm not going out and try to win MVP or anything like that, I'm just going out to have fun.
I'm just gonna be laughing and joking with other players, that's pretty much it. It's just a laid back atmosphere, I'm not going to be uptight or be preparing myself for the game, I'm just gonna be laid back and just choppin' it up with the fellas.

It's all about entertainment out there, the fans don't want to see a bunch of jumpers. You try to put a little flash in there, maybe bring a little bit of streetball. I want people out of their seats and enjoying the game.

The game is a little Hollywood too, you got your favorite actors and entertainers watching you play the game that we love.

For the first three quarters it's all showmen and guys trying to entertain the crowd, but I think, you know, we're all such fierce competitors on the basketball court that in the fourth it gets tight and guys try to win the game.

    Not Your Ordinary Answers
I told you how the weekend is just the same questions again and again man. So I'm changing it up.
I saw a couple movies recently:

Hello my name is Borat, nice to meet you... Man, that guy is funny.

I also checked out The Departed and that was real good. They got a nice little cast: Jack, Matt Damon... Jack was a bad boy in that movie, he was running everything.

    The Family Break
One of the best part's about the All-Star Break, is that I get to have my family with me. It's great to have an opportunity to relax with them for the weekend. To have kids and not be there every night is tough. It's great to have the opportunity to bring them here for the weekend and give them the chance to see some of these great people and great players.

I'm really glad that we could bring Yao into a topic about TMac's blog. God knows we don't read enough about the big guy around here and God freaking forbid TMac writes about something other than Yao in his blog. It's like he has his own life or something, like he is an NBA superstar even without Yao.

    How dare he!

That icon isn't nearly enough to surmise my response.

I'ts a blog. Short for web log.(I have no idea what happened to the poor W and E) If Yao did nothing then why mention him? They are not dating.

Hey guys lay off pryuen please.

So he loves Yao, no harm if his rants obsessively about his love. :)

He is a good contributor to the board. And I enjoy his YOF insight.

As a YOF I think you're out of line here. T-Mac and Yao are essentially co-workers. Would you write about your co-workers in all your blog entries?

damn, pryuen, just cause tmac doesn't think of yao 24/7 doesn't make him some kind of self-obsessed diva. its his damn blog, and he had a good time in vegas, there's nothing wrong with letting everyone know about it.

    The Kiss
Posted by Tracy McGrady on Feb. 19, 2007, 1 a.m. ET

People wanting to know about the kiss.
Everyone's wants to know about the Kiss. Shaq gave me a little peck after a dunk in the game, that's it. It was just a peck on the forehead or wherever he kissed me, that's it. HAHA.

It wasn't like seeing Dick Bavetta and Charles Barkley kiss, it wasn't that type. It's the first time I've ever been kissed on national television by a male. Totally, totally, totally suprised me on that kiss.

    Back to Games That Count
Now that All-Star is over, we're looking to get our big fella back. You know Yao's been out about two months. We've been playing some great basketball without him but I think in order for us to make this run for the playoffs and really get out chemistry right we have to have him back in our lineup. That's what I'm looking forward to now.

And I read it today on the Chinese website that Yao Ming travelled back to Houston on Tracy McGrady's private jet after the hectic All Stars Weekend. :D

do you think these guys really write these blogs or even say these things or is it their PR people writing and saying everything...sometimes I don't think the atheletes say any of it...its all just some little nerd writing these blogs and the athletes just sign off on them...I mean it sounds like TMAC but who really knows for sure...

pryuen, you should really look at this from another perspective... give you a couple examples, there are multiple times TMac called Yao the most dominant player in the league. How many times did Yao make similar comments about TMac?

JVG and TMac paid from their own pocket for red rowdie, what did Yao do?

But no one is calling Yao I-Me-Mine, since he is unselfish, team player on the court. That's most important virtue of Yao for all Rockets fans.

So you are implying Pryuen is in love w/ Yao ? The fan who stabbed Seles had that trouble w/ Steffi Graf. :p
The only hole here is that Graf and Seles are rivals. which is different from TMAC/Yao. :p
