What is Thomas Hamilton doing these days? We should give him a call.

I love me some U of F baller David Lee. I like his tenacity and willingness to do the dirty work on the boards. His ability to shoot the mid range j and drive to the bucket. I would prefer him over Bosh.

Say Yes to David Lee for significantly less money.

If he wants to play for our team, let him in. As mentioned, we could do a lot worse than the diesel. Anderson is a bust unless Morey and Adelman know something we don't. We'd almost certainly see Hayes go bye-bye though. But we need a 7 footer who can actually pick up a few points here and there.

After we land Bosh, Shaq will be buying his own ticket into Houston to sign on Morey's vet min deal.

Scola + Hill + Knicks Swap + Jeffries for Bosh

    Brooks/Lowry
Martin/Lowry/Taylor (We played Brooks/Lowry lineup quite a bit this season)
    Ariza/Budinger
    Bosh/Hayes
    Yao/Shaq

    Sick 4 x 20 PPG scorer + Defensive SF

I think we should pass on Shaq. We have enough injury issues between Yao and Kevin Martin.

If Shaq would accept the role and embrace it I would definetly take him.

But the problem I see with that Shaq is not the defensive force we are needing to add to our rotation. He isn't bad on D because he eats up a lot of space and has size but he isn't much more than passable.

Given how ineffective he was for Cleveland, I say no thanks.

I would love it if Shaq came to the Rockets.

    Shaq's the best!
(personality wise; everyone knows Yao's the best center)

"Hey, remember when everyone was talking about Shaq vs. Yao for the best center in the NBA? Well let's make that happen again."

I'd rather have two motivated, productive players fighting for playing time instead of two unhealthy, dependent players relying on each other to pick up the slack. This could go well depending on the attitude taken.

I can't imagine Morey would go for that idea unless Les asked him too for marketing purposes...like SF. It's already been said, but I'll repeat. Shaq does not work in our system as he's almost as useless as Hayes at the top of the key. And when Yao is getting beat at the the pick and roll, you're going to put in Shaq to stop it? Do you want

The only way I'd want Shaq is if he's the 5th big. I'd rather have Yao, Scola, Hill, and Brad Miller in their before him. And after seeing that list, I'd rather keep Hayes for defense then Shaq.

Unnecessary drama in the locker room? Likely issues with coming off the bench? A very likely possibility that he will sleep through the first 3/4 of the season + become a waste of cap space?
