"LeBron's lack of a post-game" ... not true anymore. LeBron has actually posted up more frequently than Carmelo Anthony this season. And he's been just as efficient overall (both rank 11th in points-per-post-up, according to Synergy statistics). Actually, LeBron has a higher FG% on post-ups -- 53% vs 48%.
As of right now Kyle lowry is a better overall player than Parker and he's has a bigger impact...were pretty bad when Lowry is not on the court.
Parker is the better player period. He can get to the hole anytime he wants and is viewed as more dangerous. Lowry can't beat anyone off the dribble but is still having a good year.
But that's something that Lebron has developed this year, which i think helps my point. if Lebron continues with his post game development he will truly be unstoppable. once Lowry develops a really Strong pick and roll Game(the reason Parker is such a great scorer), he will be most complete pg in the league. A walking TD! He has that potential, and that's something Parker doesn't have or ever had. Lowry damn near gets a triple double every night, only Rondo can come close to doing that. Lowry is a better scorer then Rondo. He is only going to get better, just as he has done the last three years he has been A Rocket.
You're saying Carmelo is better based on those stats? LeBron's TS%/eFG% is at 61.4%/56.2% and Carmelo's is at 50.1%/42.8%. That's a huge disparity. The only time Carmelo has been more efficient than LeBron by those metrics was in their rookie seasons.
I never disagreed that Lebron was a better scorer. I was just saying that you can't just look at fg% and ppg to determine it.
Parker is the better player historically, but surely Lowry is having a better year. Especially if you look at their stats. Just ask any fantasy bball player.
I love Lowry because I love all my Rockets, but Parker is an All-Star PG. It was very painful to watch TP ran all over Lowry. I did not understand why Coach Popovich took Parker out intermittently vs. the Rockets. Parker shoots a 49% FG in his career, Lowry his best season this year only 39%. Finally, if TP play in-control, you will not find Parker go for 2-16.
That's not a good argument at all. You can't just look at one stat and determine whose better. Hasty generalization.
