What a great moment! I love that radio clip. Because I watched it on the tube when it happened, I never heard it until it popped up on ClutchFans. I've got it bookmarked, but still love to hear it!
Although I would've liked to see an Olajuwon moment ranked higher, it's at least suiting that he got #34.
19. Stockton’s Game Winner Sends Jazz to Finals; Game 6, 1997, Western Conference Finals wasn't this the play where malone bear-hugged drexler so stockton could get off that shot? they didn't show that angle on the highlight...
I remember Rex Chapman's shot. During the rest of the summer, that's all we did, was that running catching, falling away, akward three point shot.
It may not be a "moment", but i posted one of our favourites on youtube last night.... http://youtube.com/watch?v=hW4uXlRGAF0&search=hakeem%20olajuwon
I don't know if it is listed as one of the 60 greatest moments, but if you scroll to the bottom of the list on the NBA TV Broadband pop-up, it has 2 listings that don't include dates: Rockets Never Give Up Mikan's Lakers Win 5 Titles
Not necessarily a playoff moment...but maybe the greatest NBA moment of all time (at least for Rockets fans!!!)... Wishing you all the best...Mailman...ringless!!!
How about Jake O'Donnell ending his NBA career by ejected Clyde Drexler from the Phoenix game? I also enjoyed Dream and Drexler both breaking out with 40+ point performances in Game 1 of the Utah series in Utah in 1995.
I remember that game, but I never heard the specifics on whether O'Donnel got fired for it. Can anyone fill me in?
