I watched the full conference. It was like the 3rd, maybe 4th time someone asked basically the same question. In the previous attempts, Chauncy and the Blazers FO person already gave a very lengthy answer. I didn't mind the PR person shutting it down; but I can see how social media snipped a clip, and took it out of context and act like Blazers never addressed it.
oh wow. didn't see the full clip. This does look pretty bad out of context. we all know how out of context clips doomed Harden's career. Chauncey is doomed.
In addition to Atkinson, the Warriors are also hiring Dejan Milojević and Jama Mahlalela, sources told The Athletic. Mahlalela has been an important behind-the-scenes part of the Raptors developmental staff for the past decade. Along with Milojević, who specializes in training big men, Mahlalela will play a key role in the Warriors’ revamped developmental plan.
QUESTION: What makes Becky Hammon's a hot commodity? She has only been an Asst Coach for like 6 years Spurs have not exactly been killing the league since she been there Is this all about the power of Pop? Rocket River

Mark Jackson is a Klutch sports client, he's getting a lot of mentions by pundits. For the Kings, I'm surprised someone as bright as Monte McNair (from Daryl's GM tree) is considering Mark. Other than a recognizable name, Jackson hasn't really coached since he left Warriors. At least JVG still did the Olympics. If the Lakers get Mark, what a beautiful disaster that'd be. There are a couple assistant coaches that's been in the "circuit". Up and comers. MIL assistant coach Darvin Ham. (LAL, ATL,MIL - short bio) BOS assistant coach Will Hardy. (SAS, BOS - short bio) These guys aren't hidden gems per se, since GMs knows about them. Darvin for example tied first place in last year's survey. 2021-22 GM survey, Ham was tied with Atkinson as best assistant. "Who is the best assistant coach in the NBA? 1. Kenny Atkinson, Golden State – 17% Darvin Ham, Milwaukee – 17% 3. Scott Brooks, Portland – 10% David Vanterpool, Brooklyn – 10% 5. Nate Tibbets, Orlando – 7%" Silas' job is safe this year, but would have been nice to swap out some of Rocket's current assistants. These coveted leading assistants are looking for head coaching gigs unfortunately. I don't know, if Rockets offered (say more money), maybe some assistants might consider. As far résumé, it looks better when they're on good teams. Money talks, if Tilman has money to buy 6 acre for a resort, maybe he can spare some to upgrade our assistants. We're a young team, coaching means relatively more in their formative years. Investing in good teachers is key.
