Just did it again, as I suspected they would. NBA just claimed a copyright violation on the Phoenix Suns fight video. 1.3 million views on that one.

Clutchfans isn't considered some little underground site anymore. It's probably one of first non-official sites the NBA looks at for questionable stuff. I'm guessing since they requested the 2 videos with fights pulled that they are trying to do damage public relations control for the NBA image. I noticed that many vids for the Palace Brawl were pulled.

Sad state of affairs for the NBA.

Maybe they need to be hit with a fan day of silence.

I don't blame them for wanting to protect their brand by removing as much stuff that could be called negative as possible.

What I don't understand is why there is no site in Indonesia doing the same service as YouTube that doesn't care about US copyright laws.

Is it because you called Bill Walker, a Celtic, punk?

I wonder if it's technically possible that NBA fans unite and "revolt" against the authoritarian regime of David Stern? NBA is a shame when it comes to its propaganda to protect its notorious image, spoiled poster boys and cash-generating teams.

LOL... I wondered that, but I don't think so. Looks like the NBA is just doing this to videos that make their image look bad (I guess).

As for "punk" -- I knew that video would be seen by Houston and Boston fans so I wanted to put my Houston slant on it ... and let's be honest -- Walker is a punk.

Haha yeah, he really is a punk. But come to think of it, Stern won't allow its viewers to know that one of the most marketable teams (if the the most) has a "punk" player LOL. But your point that NBA is just trying to eliminate anything that will make its image bad makes a lot of sense.
