I think you meant to say Chuck Norris is not in the East. The East is in Chuck Norris. Seriously, he ate Laos and half of Thailand.

I will take the Suns as the surprise winner. They have really impressed me. I like their chances in a seven game series.

Guess some of you missed the All Star Game, although it was in H-town.
Detroit + LeBron beat the best the West has to offer. Deeeee-Troittttttt Baaaaaasket Baaaaaalllllllllllll! Not that I'm a fan, but damn, they are the most complete team I've seen since Bird's Celts and Magic's Lakers. Yes, the Suns, Spurs and Heat have several better position players, but are not near as deep at each position or overall. Detroit in 5 over the West All-Stars, 5 Chuck Norrises or any other basketball team since 2000.

Detroit beat them because maybe they play together EVERYDAY. And it was not James with them, it was Pierce. The stars never play with each other so they do not know how to distribute the ball.

If the West players played with each other for 3 years, they would wipe the floor with Detroit.

Kudos... doesn't that prove my point even more so...Pierce couldn't hold James jock strap and Detroit won the ASG w/ Pierce. :D

    48-13 is in decline???!!!

With Ginobilli and Duncan fighting injuries all season? With Finley learning the system?

Spurs are completely stacked, and are going to be a VERY tough out for any team, including Detroit.

Duncan's scoring is down, but Parkers is up; and Ginobilli is finally rounding into form. Spurs have only lost once since the break, a B2B @ Clips; and other than that have pretty much been pasting teams.

Detroit, in the meantime, is looking mortal. LB had them peaking at the playoffs for two seasons; and they damn near repeated with that formula. Flip decided peaking in January was important. We'll all see how that works out for them.

Spurs over Detroit in 5. (Split 1st two in Detroit, then sweep in SA)
