About time, Wade looked like a total douche with that on. I can see why the NBA would ban it. If you allow him to put anything on the band-aid then you've gotta allow others to wear any headbands they want, anything they want on their sleeves, or even their socks. Use it for the medical purpose, not to look cool.
Yep, but they would never say anything about that. That's a feel good NBA story. Notice, analysts always bring it up and that leads them into how hard he works off the ball and how he helped the pistons win the championship. Let's not pretend this is somehow about guys needing to look the same. The league just doesn't want guys wearing any hip hop/Nelly-style band aids under their eyes.
I think Rip said he wears it still as a preventive measure since he's broken his nose twice with the second time soon after he stopped wearing his mask. Besides, it isn't like he has his name or some brand name on the mask.
Touche,I thought it would prob come up with some regulations against FLOP,and actually I read a article off season about fining the players who flops alot this season is in the making, but then what,no info and floppers like Varejao keeps flopping every now and then. What an embarrassment for the NBA and Stern for not enacting a rule to penalize the floppers!
Its about time. It was annoying enough the first time it was done, by Nelly... Then he made it worse by putting his name on it, what a douche. Y'all should see his episode of cribs, he's one of the most self absorbed people EVERRrr, paintings all over the wall of himself
This reminds me of when the NBA made Steve Francis and Cuttino Mobley take off their arm bands that had each other's nick names on them.

So are they also going to prohibit T-Mac from wearing his maxi-pad during games, or do they not care since its not exactly visible?
