hey next thing you kno they might want to make the shorts like in the 80-early 90's....lol then the whole players would complain on lookin fruity.. lol but whoeva comes up with this stuff... is crazy.. they wouldnt understand since all they do is sit up in the nba office and hand out crazy fines...
NBA suits are becoming so paranoid about the league's image its disturbing. If they polled fans on whats wrong with the NBA, I think players wearing tights would be a bit low on the list.
I think if you read the article you will see that that caveat was included. Without prejudice, the NBA say show proof - quite simple. I am still not sure what the point of banning it is all about though (fashion statment or otherwise) - it is after an under-garment. There are some boxer shots that hug the skin (the only difference is that they are not as long). Underwear is underwear is undergarment. No fuss.
