I think we can all agree that a case can be made for each contestant being in the finals EXCEPT Blake. It'd be nice if they had a 3way dunkoff to determine which 2 get into the finals. Dunk of the night definitely goes to Derozan, but I think McGee was more consistent (and Ibaka was criminally underrated in both dunks; almost AI-esque).
i wonder if griffin can actually do the dunks he started out trying. the 1st one he just barely missed, so i assume yes. the 2nd one i don't know how he was going to catch and then spin 360 and dunk. didn't help that baron was throwing awful passes off the backboard. i will say, i wondered if his in game awesomeness could translate to the contest, and while he hasn't been great, the power and athleticism are just as impressive tonight as in games.
Vince Carter still have the best dunk in dunk contest, let's see if Blake can top this.. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/YIB4H3VmFX8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Keep in mind that the finals are determined by fan voting. So it's a popularity contest. Results Griffin wins.
Another unoriginal, less-impressive-than-original dunk. Yawn. The dunk contest is not back. But the hype men are.
It's kind of funny. Last couple years people have been complaining that the contest has not been good enough. NOW people are complaining that there are not enough dunks for the contestants because it's too good.
